Perfect for my application.

I was very, very happy to get my new tires. They are truly excellent. They were a bit noisy at first, but after about 1000 km they lost their road noise. The handling is wonderful, and I feel comforted that they will give me the traction I need especially during winter, when icy roads surprise us. I put them on my Dodge grand Caravan that has been converted to carry a heavy power chair. Previous tires of worn unevenly and I have a feeling that these new tires will have the durability I require.

Best tires for Canadian weather.

I only buy these tires on every car now. They handle any weather rain, snow, ice and extreme heat just fine. I have never hydroplaned in these and they are about 90% as good as winter tires on ice. I used to buy the Toyo style like this but did not like them on the really hot days. If you do not want to deal with storing and changing winter tires, these will do the job.

Big Improvement!

Replaced our Rav4's factory tires with a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires and immediately noticed a huge improvement in terms of ride comfort and handling. Winter was already over, so we have yet to see how these CrossClimate 2 tires do on snow and ice, but based on the reviews we read and what we have experienced so far, I say "BRING IT ON!!!"

You can't go wrong with these.

I have used these tires for years. Tire wear is slow, if you maintain proper air pressure. Traction is great in the snow, rain, cornering at speed and when riding on lined pavement (the tire design eliminates vehicle wobbling because of the cross design). I have the tires on our BMW, Mercedes and VW.

So far so impressed

Only about 300 miles so far but very satisfied. I don't understand the noise criticism being good and bad...can't be both but my limited experience is they are not overly noisy. Traction is not criticized by anyone so I'm expecting that to continue this winter in Illinois. So far so good!

Noisy and feel small bumps a lot

I did not choose these CC2 tires for my new to me 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD. I found them noisy on smooth roads. On paved country roads that are not the best of surfaces you can feel and hear most small bumps. They transfer the noise and feel of road irregularities into the Vehicle cabin. We have purchased many sets of Michelins tires throughout my 60 years of driving. I’m 75 now. We buy Volvos and Mercedes and often have 4 to 5 cars licensed and insured ready to go. These CC2 are very new less than 5000km. I might switch them to another of our cars or hope they wear out soon. In the plus side they have good traction when cornering a bit aggressively. I guess I’ll have to wait until it rains to check out their wet characteristics.

Excvellent Traction

I have these tires on my Audi A4, have about 35k miles on them. Living in Colorado in the mountains I have been very impressed. These tires stick like glue. Best part is you can use them year round, no changing to snow tires. Only complaint I have is I did lose a couple of mpg with them. Even so the security of them makes up for it. I just purchased a set for my 2023 Kia K5.

Mixed feelings about this tire

The jury is still out on this tire. Fantastic job in the snow and winter! However, in the summer, it is a hard riding tire. I feel every bump in the road. I'll go through the summer months with it but next year I'll probably find another to put on my car. My car is a 2020 Lexus RX350

We want to live long and prosper!

Amazing grip on the road yet a very comfortable smooth ride and quiet which some people had a different opinion on. Just look at the design of the thread. The design allows water and snow to easily dispense from the tire assuring full contact under those conditions. My wife and I just retired and want to have a as much of a long life live as possible after all that hard work in the trenches.

Awful choice.

First off I’m a huge Michelin fan until now. Everyone raved about these so I plopped down a weeks take home and had them installed on my rogue. Huge mistake! I had primacy’s and absolutely loved them but these are horrendous. They ride like they’re filled with concrete, dropped highway mpg from 31 to 27 and produce a noticeable hum. To make matters worse, the vibrate @80 mph and all the balancing and alignment checks in the world can’t get rid of it. I bought an extra set of factory rims and had a competitors tire installed, which was almost 59% less and the vibration is gone. Bad tires! They do wear like iron is the only good thing I can say. I use these now for a winter tire and hope we don’t get snow so I don’t have to swap wheels out. So disappointed in what I spent for such a gimmicky tire.

Thank you for providing feedback on your experience with CrossClimate2 tires. We are sorry to hear that the fuel efficiency did not meet your expectations. When new tires are installed on a vehicle, the fuel efficiency will typically experience an initial drop compared with the worn tires that were removed. Fuel savings will typically become evident over the lifespan of a set of CrossClimate2 tires. Additionally, For any vibration, uniformity, difficult to balance, high road force, or slow leak complaints, please consult with the dealer to ensure that the proper lubricant is applied to both the rim flange and the tire bead during the mounting process.  This mounting and demounting procedure applies to all tires and brands. We hope that you will consider Michelin brand tires again in the future.
