I bought these tires about 3000km ago and have been driving mainly in summer conditions. We recently got some wet slushy snow with ice conditions. Performance in both was impressive. Summer was a smooth and quiet ride. Great handling. For the snowy and slushy conditions, they had no problem handling the slush and snow. I tried to spin out, drove through a couple of snowbanks, and went up some pretty steep inclines, but they really handled well. No loss of traction and solid performance.

I go through a set a tires once every 12-16 months and these are by far the best for winter driving. I have had every high end tire from basically the top three or four manufacturers and these win hands down. I live in West Michigan and we get dumped on with wet, heavy lake effect snow, rain and ice. We just had about ten inches over night and I spent the morning on plowed and unplowed roads, heavily salted slushy roads, steep hills and icy bridges. Ice is a moot point for any tire but these handled exceptionally well through any of the adverse conditions the weather and road conditions had to offer from start to stop period. I cannot understand how someone would give these a bad review for winter driving saying they are spinning in slush they obviously do not have much experience driving. I drive a front wheel drive four door sedan. Again, if you have doubts about these tires do not you will be very happy with your purchase.

Bought these last fall for my 2017 XT5. The tires perform well in all conditions, very quiet under all highway conditions, concrete and asphalt. Looking for a second set for another of my cars. I rotate every 10k miles, the first rotation highlighted no noticeable wear pattern. Way to go Michelin…….

I have traveled about 5000 miles on these new tires to date. My wife and I took a road trip and traveled extensively on 2 lane county and state roads. We experienced some heavy rains in Wyoming and the Dakotas. These tires eat standing water like it isn't there. They corner and brake very true on wet and dry pavement. I was pessimistic about the tread design but it does channel water away from the tires very efficiently. I haven't had a chance to drive on snow or ice but have no fear that they will perform equally well in those conditions. Also, they are much quieter than the Continentals Ford loves to put on cars. I am very glad I bought these and will again if they wear as advertised.

I've had these on my 2014 Avalon Limited for about a year now. I got them after the surprise snowstorm we had because I saw they were fine in the summer, too. These are honestly the best tires I've ever had. I've always wanted a quieter tire, especially on highway sections where they've put down a layer of gravel over tar, making it very noisy to drive on. There's still some noise, of course, but this is the first tire that has ever made a noticeable difference. I've had no issues with how the car handles or anything. I had to dodge a surprise armadillo on the road recently and had to make a pretty aggressive maneuver to steer around him. My back end only lost traction for a fraction of a second and my steering remained solid. I also noticed a big difference in how well these tires cut through those water ruts that are on some highways. There's another instance where I've seen a big difference with these tires. There's far less resistance when you drive along those extended patches of road water. Unfortunately, we didn't get any snow or sleet this past winter, so there's nothing I can say right now about how well they do there. I waited through the whole winter to write this review, but I decided to go ahead and post it without the winter report.

I bought these for my Accord because I have a set on my HR-V. I wanted a tire that was excellent in rain and on dry pavement. The handling is excellent. We had several inches of rain the other day and they handled excellent. They are much quieter than I expected but road noise is somewhat louder than Defender tires.

I bought a set of CrossClimate 2 this spring of 2021. I know Michelin tires are one of the best tires out there. In my rating, CrossClimate 2 in different categories. I travelled yesterday in one of my most adventurous drives along the snowstorm direction from Chicago to Detroit. I94 was a combination of slosh pit and fresh accumulated snow at various stretches. Michigan roads were bad to start with. But this tire (and some driving skills, well tire mainly) kept me going at 65 to 70 MPH in that snow and gave me a lot of confidence to drive over. As some users have noted can't speak of its performance well into its life but these were installed 2 months ago and had very less mileage on them as of writing this review. If you hit a heap of snow as in when changing lanes though - because of the way the tire is grooved to let a lot of rain and snow flow outwards you will see a significant slowdown than other tires. It is good if you are in control and have no vehicle around but bad if you are in a traffic. Just the driver has to account for this change in performance style compared to other tires (Ex: Michelin Defender). Another major downside of this tire is on grooved roads - it becomes wobbly thanks to the non continuous contact patch type tread design but isnt dangerous in anyway. Same goes for snow. And despite that wobbliness, cornering in this is a hoot. If these downsides don't bother you, this tire is brilliant and the tread design aesthetic gets full points from me.

I purchased my tires last winter. I have been happy and satisfied with the performance. I feel safe on the road in all weather conditions. The tires grip appropriately in all weather climates. I have not encountered any problems since the purchase. These are great all weather tires and I recommend them fir anyone who dies not want to have the hassle of winter tires.

Bought these 6 months ago and they are excellent tires! Best riding tire so far on this vehicle and I replaced a set of Michelin Pilots that were on before! Better dry road handling and excellent wet road handling. Have not yet experienced winter as of yet!
