Is it me or the vacuum

It seems to spend a ridiculous amount of time in the same spots. It doesn't hit every spot on the floor. It takes a long time to return to home when I try to send it there. My wife likes it for convenience. I'm annoyed with it because I could get the same job done in 15 min that takes this vacuum an hour.

Molly

Molly keeps my new home pretty clean she sometimes can't find her way home and runs of juice but for the most part she does great for a robot. I like walking barefoot and not feel particles on floor and Molly ensure's my feet are happy. I like that I can schedule cleaning from the app or operate Molly from wherever.

Jury still out!

I have had this Roomba for 20 days. It does an okay job of cleaning hard floor and carpet. However, it fails to dock and I find it dead in the middle of a room just after ~75 minutes of total cleaning which is worrisome! What if it dies under the king-size bed, how will I retrieve it? Also, it's cleaning pattern is strange. Is there a way to get this devise to clean a room completely and then go to the others as It keeps going back and forth between rooms? Could a function to map the room dimensions to assist this devise to clean effectively be included in the next upgrade? What I have found useful for effective cleaning is to manually pick the devise and place it in an area for spot cleaning. However, that has involved baby sitting the devise, which defeats it's designed robotic functionality.

Hello! We appreciate you sharing your experience with your Roomba 675! This Roomba cleans using an adaptive cleaning pattern. Meaning that the Roomba would use Dirt Detect sensors and the Floor Tracking Sensor to keep track of the space covered. As well as ensuring that areas with a higher level of dirt or dust get multiple passes. To make sure that everything gets pulled up! You would be able to limit the space covered by your Roomba by using the Dual Mode Virtual Wall accessory. This would use Infrared technology to keep the Roomba in a specific room. Giving you more control over the performance of your Roomba's cleaning performance. If the Roomba navigates too far from the Home Base. This would interfere with the communication between the Roomba and the Home Base when it was time to dock. So this accessory would also assist with this experience. Used to work, now it preferes only one room

It used to be good about cleaning the entire floor properly. Lately, its has been constantly trapping itself in one room then using up its battery there. Right now, the base is located in the main room where I want it to clean and it finds its way through the only opening to the place where I do not want it. I pick it up and set it as far as possible from the opening and it immediately it finds its way back there and using the virtual wall inst an option at the moment as it is being used to block water bowls for pets. It defeats the purpose of the vacuum if I have to keep picking it up.

I would buy another one to get the job done faster!

5/5 stars recommend! It makes it easier on everyone by using these robots! You do not have to do much to get them started, and you can do it from the comfort of your bed or school or work with the app. I originally got them to help my mom out with the cleaning, and we all have back pain at some point. This little bot makes everything so much easier getting under the beds so we do not have to bend down and clean with the vacuum extender, which can be hard getting all the spots when you can barely see under the bed's darkness. I use these bots daily, and they last for a long time as I have had mine for almost a year and no complaints. I am thinking of even getting another iRobot vacuum to get the job done quicker. Thank you for making cleaning fun and easier!

The wife my husband never had..

Our Roomba is like the wife my husband never had. She can clean 2 times/day (when the floors look spotless) and she still has a full bin when finished! Yes, you do have to pick up before she runs (but don't we do that when vacuuming, otherwise?) and yes she misses things on occasion, but let's remember she doesn't technically have eyes. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs-one of which is a German Shepherd who sheds enough fur daily to manufacture small coats and Roomba has significantly improved the cleanliness of our household! She's like part of the family!

What took me so long to buy my Roomba!

After getting my roomba, I have gotten lamp cords off of the floor. I make sure there are not any of my daughters hair ties are on the floor, shoes with laces are out of the way. Sometimes I put my 4 chairs on the dining room table so the Roomba can get to areas where the chairs block access. I clean the small debris bin after each use and after 3 times, I clean the brush roller, remove any pet hair that has wrapped around the ends of the rollers and front little wheel, and rinse off the filter. I wish I would have bought a roomba a long time ago. It really is an amazing little device.

This robot really sucks

Waste of money, doesn't clean makes noise like leaf blower and keeps getting stuck ... doesn't learn and misses docking almost all the time.

Product is "meh" compared to the rest of the field

This is our second Roomba and it will be our last. The lack of LIDAR support, the noisy operation, small collection bin and random "getting stuck" situations make this a product that was good in its day but hasn't evolved with the times.
