Never buy

These are the worst batteries I have ever bought. With everything being so dang high I thought I would try them to try and save a little money! So I bought 5 packs that was $55. Then being they were so difficult to open. I decided to open them all when I figured out a so called easier way to open! And I stored them in an empty medicine bottle that I cleaned out good! For easy access! Not sure if that is why some work and some don't but we have thrown more away then we have used! Some things just aren't worth cutting costs for 😡

You've got to be kidding me!

These batteries may be very good if you can figure out a way to get them out of the packaging. Your last Members Mark effort with the paper backing was stupid. The packaging on these Members Mark batteries is insane. Forget the scissors. I had to use a utility knife and two pair of plyers. Did any one think to look at how Eveready or Duracell does packaging. The only reason you got a 1 was because 0 wasn't available!

We are sorry for your experience with the battery packaging, Doc. Please know the packaging was updated to follow Reese’s Law, mandating all button, coin, and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – be contained in child-resistant packaging. We understand the challenge in first opening the packaging but believe once members become more familiar with how it works the easier it becomes to open.

Zero stars

These say child proof, but they are adult impossible. Package looked the same as the Energizers the club previously carried, which an adult could open easily while out and about. These are impossible to open by hand, and instruct you to cut a pie shape with scissors to get one out, which I couldn't do with my very sharp scissors, and my husband had to do. We were left with a very sharp piece of plastic. I usually don't carry scissors (or tin snips) with me. Hope when the person who came up with this is older and wearing hearing aids, there are more intelligent people employed in the engineering packaging departments.

Packaging the worse ever!

The only reason I gave this a 2 is that the batteries are really good. The packaging is absolutely horrible. Cant get the batteries out without using scissors and even then it is really hard.

Terrible packaging. Extremely hard to open. Batteries are good, but the packaging will stop me from buying again!

I cannot believe these are this bad.

I cannot believe Sam's allowed this garbage to be sold in their stores. Better buy a sledge hammer to get the package open. Definitely child proof and senior citizen proof too. Only an elite Olympic body builder can get it open. Just disgusting.

Dangerous %26 Difficult packaging

Horrible packaging! These need scissors to get out and still are hard to get out! Senior citizens will hurt themselves getting these out because when you cut with scissors there are very sharp edges. Need to update to accommodate the elderly.

Ridiculous packaging

The packaging for this product is ridiculously bomb proof for teeny tiny batteries. If someone has figured out a way to get them out without cutting yourself to pieces, I am all ears.
