I quit using the protective cases for a long time because I could not stand the crinkly plastic noise and would always wake up with my head sweating because of the plastic. Allerease Ultimate COTTON pillow protectors are wonderful! The material is soft, comfortable and temperature balancing. Every pillow in our house is getting one now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pillow protector! I have been searching high and low for a pillow protector for my son who has severe allergies to dust. I have to cover all of his pillows and most pillow protectors that claim to be made for people with allergies are made with a plastic liner inside that are noisy and make my son sweat when he sleeps. Not so with this pillow protector. He has been sleeping so well since we started using these! I am buying one for every pillow in my house now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased, first of all, with the fabric; it is very soft and comfortable. Because of the softness of the fabric, it doesn’t ‘crack or rustle’ when you’re sleeping. Its flexibility also makes it easy to put onto the pillow. The claims of providing mite and bedbug barriers are reassuring and I’m hoping for a bit of allergy relief for the coming season. The one feature I wish it had was a more cooling affect, but I did notice that the pillow does not seem to get as warm during the course of the night with this protector. All in all I’m very happy with this Allerease product.

I used this under my normal pillow case because it is quite stuff and not soft but didn't notice that with my regular pillow case over top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have pretty bad allergies and this pillow protector really helps a lot for keeping my pillow clean and allergen-free so that I breathe better at night. It protects against most things, like dust & dander but also is antimicrobial to protect against bacteria. Honestly, I don't know how much bacteria grows on a pillow cover, but it's good to have anyway. I do know that having a pillow cover has made a HUGE difference in how well I sleep. A lot of pillows either can't be washed at all or get ruined when washed, so to have a cover that keeps it clean and reducing (or eliminates) how much you have to wash your pillow is great. The cover is machine washable and dryer safe, so I just throw it in with my regular bedding to wash it, which makes it super easy to care for. I'm really happy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a bad pillow protector! It's great in protecting the pillow and preventing it from turning yellow from oil and grease. Held up fine through washing and drying. It's kind of rough texture-wise. Reminds me of the motels/hotels pillows. So do note that if you aren't using a pillow-case. If you are, though, there's not really a problem!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sure why I haven't had one of these before. I buy expensive pillows and they always get makeup on them. I use pillow cases but sleep crazy and the pillow is always exposed at the end. It is a simple product that really solves a problem. I love that it is supposed to ease allergies. I haven't noticed a change but I am sure it must help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cover is made great. Stitching and quality of material is nice. It did take like 3 washes to get it soft enough to sleep on. Other than that. There is no downside to it. It protects your pillow very nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the AllerEase ultimate pillow protector, I was concerned as I thought it was quite stiff coming out of the package. I decided to wash it first before use, and my concerns went away. I was worried about the crunching sound when rolling around on the pillow. Not present after the initial wash. The zipper on the pillow protector works wonderfully and doesn't stick out to poke you throughout the night. I do have allergies and sleep with my dog in the bed (I know... poor choice - but I love him!). I do feel that this pillow case assisted in lessened nighttime sneezing.
