I will say that to get it a golden brown color it took about 3-3 1/2 minutes. Once cooked they tasted great. The bag comes with 2 smaller bags for the tortillas. I just wish that the inner bags were resealable like the outer packing. I'm afraid that after opening the first time, if you don't use them quickly, they will go bad. Overall this is a clever solution for people who don't have the time to hand make tortillas often.

They are all already portioned and flattened out. You just pull them from the refrigerator, lay them in a pre-heated skillet for 30 seconds on each side, and they're ready for whatever use you need. I made mine into quesadillas, and they were delicious!

We have a flat griddle I throw on the stove, the tortilla goes on for about a minute and then you flip it over. It's really fun to watch them puff up and get airy. They get crispy. They make great quesadillas. These do take a bit longer than having pre-made cooked tortillas. But the flavor and the freshness makes it worth it. And it really doesn't take that long. My kids can cook these themselves. I highly recommend trying out these tortillas!

I really wanted to love these tortillas but they fell short in a lot of ways for me. To start, the texture is so hard and rough to the point where they almost feel stale. When you go to bend them to make a taco or whatever you're making, even when heated up first, they just split right down the side and the tortilla is ruined if you don't make whatever you're making immediately after taking them out of the microwave. This was really disappointing. I couldn't eat these as is. I had to heat them up first. Because of this, they didn't seem fresh at all and I felt like I was “bringing them back to life” from the second I opened the bag. Another thing I didn't love was the packaging. The zipper is flimsy and hard to open and nearly impossible to zip back up due to the nature of the zipper being so bendable and bad quality. I ended up putting them in a separate gallon sized ziplock bag. I found that I like these tortillas the best when I crisp up the outsides of them and cook them more. Otherwise- they just taste stale. In terms of taste, these tortillas are fine and do the job. I think by themselves they aren't very tasty like authentic tortillas would be. But combined with whatever is inside they aren't too bad. I think these tortillas do the job and they are “good enough” but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat them. I'd suggest Mission make them softer and more flour-ish like the authentic tortillas we all know and love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are life changing and let me tell you why! First of all I didn't even know you could buy raw tortillas in the store. Anyone that has had freshly cooked tortillas knows that they are VERY different from precooked store-bought tortillas. These only take a minute or so to cook and the thing I like most about them is you can cook them very lightly for a more chewy texture, or you can cook it a little more thorough for a flakier texture. Either way is great, and there's something special about enjoying these warm, freshly cooked off the pan. Your taste buds will be VERY happy when you give these a try!

They are packed in two different packages which I put one pack in the freezer . You get a lot of tortillas for a great price and are great if you want just one tortilla or a bunch they are always fresh and taste great
