I've been a Bose user for 50 years and I can't believe how inept Bose has become. I purchased this speaker believing I could connect to my Alexa. The thing connected to my phone and nothing else. I became so frustrated with the Bose app I litterally threw the speaker in the trash. There are a lot of options out there to try, Bose needs to get their act together regarding their apps.

This is my 3rd Bose Bluetooth speaker, and each one is better than the last. With the app it pairs seamlessly with my sound link mini and micro for some amazing audio. Well balanced sound between highs, mids and lows. Ultra portable and environmentally protected. The portable possibilities are endless. Highly recommended!

I have always remembered the sound of a Bose speaker a friend of mine had years ago. So when I was looking for a waterproof, rugged, good sounding speaker, I ordered this Bose speaker. It did not disappoint. I love how big the sound is from a small speaker. I can’t wait until the summer when I can have it outside on the deck.

Growing up I had always heard of the name Bose and the quality it represents. But always thought that the high quality came at a high price. Well was I wrong!! I have owned a lot of speakers. This is a dream. From the quality, size and sound. Never mind the price. Cheap at twice the price. “ pure magic “

I was in the market for a Bluetooth speaker in this general price range. Decided to go with the Bose, after seeing one of the products in a Harry Mack video. Other reviews for this product have been accurate - it's a nice speaker at a medium pricepoint. Battery life is good and it feels/seems well made. Overall, I would recommend this to others.

Purchased my Soundlink Flex to assist me while gardening. While working in the yard with UTV, the Flex (2 days old) sounded great! So great, I forgot I had it on UTV. Yes, I drove right over it on blacktop driveway. I parked UTV and the Flex was STILL playing terrifically. I am a huge fan. Pictures show UTV that ran over Flex and the Flex afterwards.

Bose, in my opinion, will always be excellent for music that mainly focused on vocals. If this is the main type of music you listen to, then you will LOVE this speaker. It has excellent clarity for any vocals or mid ranged audio. For bass-heavy music, it isn’t as punchy as I would like but still good. Overall a very nice speaker.

I bought the Bose Flex to replace a vintage Soundlink II. The Flex is far more compact, has a longer battery life, and can be connected to another flex to creat stereo sound. However, the sound quality is slightly less than the Soundlink II. That is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

I know Bose speakers are good from my previous purchase of a speaker for my ipod many years ago. I've bought this speaker for my iphone and it's as great as I expected. The sound is unmatched, and they last. My old speaker is going strong but the ipod is no longer made by apple. Wish I could convert it. Will keep using it as long as my ipod works.

They sound good but not as loud as I would have liked them. Also it is a mission to get them to connect to each other. I have to use the method outside of the Bose app get it it done. I have to do it every time I turn them on, it doesn’t remember the connection.
