I have heard the sound quality of Bose speakers and happened to come upon this portable speaker. I thought I'd give a try because I was wanting something louder than what I already had. I'm glad I made that decision, the sound quality is excellent.

We bought two of these speakers to use when we're in the pool, our hot tub and to take out with us on our boat. I think it is so cool how you can use multiple speakers together at the same time and have "surround" sound. The sound quality is amazing as you always expect from Bose. Very easy to use. I love that it can handle dirt, sand and even if it was to get accidently dropped in the water, it will float and the water won't hurt it. I recommend these to anyone wanting a great quality speaker!

I have purchased many Bluetooth speakers. I thought the Clip by JBL was very good until I bought the Bose Flex. There is no comparison in sound quality, the Flex has amazing sound quality for the size. I wasted a lot of money with cheap speakers when I should have invested in a Bose from the start.

Love, love, love my SoundLink speaker! Super easy to pair with my Smart Phone Device. I Take it to work with me everyday. Because of the high sound quality, I ordered a Bose sound bar 900 and 700 subwoofer for my Television. As soon as the subwoofer is delivered, I am expecting the same high quality sound and ease of hookup. I will update my review once that unit arrives!

i purchased this speaker to use in the kitchen with a Samsung tv but was disappointed when I could not increase the volume from a mid range volume. This was the purpose of my purchase so that i could better hear the tv by putting the speaker right where I am working when cooking or doing dishes. I did contact your support dept with no resolution of the problem. I thought it was defective so I took it back and exchanged for another. Still didn’t work. I connected another brand of BT speaker (my brothers) and I had no problem. The Bose paired and showed it connected with no problem but could not increase the volume..The style is so unique and purchased it after seeing an ad for the speaker. Boo hoo!,,

The overall sound quality is quite good. I chose after rejecting a couple of other products. The range of reproduction is more important to me than volume, and most especially, the focus on bass. I still think this is too bass heavy. The control buttons could be more distinct. I'm not sure why they have been designed to so difficult to find. I'd like to have a simple equalizer choice... perhaps 4 modes... why not? It would be so much better product. Too much emphasis on waterproofing... can't Bose make a product that isn't necessarily meant to be dumped in the pool during an out of control party? The charging is much better than expected or discussed elsewhere. Uusally 2 hours, not 4. Very happy. What isn't tolerable is the choice to use a voice-based battery monitor over simple lights. It IS more definitive. But, the horrid female voice is cringe inducing... every time you turn this thing on, "she" announces your battery life and the connection, sounding like an addict about to retch. It is truly unbearable.

Took a flyer on a new Soundlink Flex speaker and boy am I happy. Got it primarily for outdoor use and travel. The sound quality is amazing. The battery lasts a long time. But the best part is that it’s so easy to use. Turn it on and it’s paired to my iPhone. I can’t overemphasize how great the sound quality is. It continues to impress me daily. And as an added bonus I can use it for phone calls. You couldn’t ask for more. Bose is so solid. Don’t settle for less.

I really enjoy the mobility of this speaker. I bought 2 of them in order to create a stereo sound and eventually connect them to a sound bar with my TV. The frustration comes with the app. I had to rely on hints from an internet search on the best (but not perfect) solution to connect the speakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Bose Soundlink Flex Bluetooth Speaker for a while now. One of my favorite things is that it can connect to multiple bluetooth sources at one time and each time I turn the speaker on it tells me the source it is connected to OR when the source reconnects to it after it is turned on. I recently used the speaker for a whole week on the beach. For the vast majority of the time I could hear the music clearly from a fairly wide distance away from the speaker. The speaker also seemed pretty resistant to sand getting on it as well which was good. One thing I don't like about the speaker is that when pushed up against something, the sound becomes muffled but more so because its like the speaker is hitting something even though it is covered by the shell of the product. I really enjoy how crisp the sound is with this speaker and the level it can get to without having to have it turnt all the way up. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would say it lives up to the BOSE brand name. I received this product for a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

I bought this on a whim actually. I use this at work, and I already had a different speaker at the time. This thing is 1/4 the size and is louder, deeper and has just that overall richer sound that you know that Bose has. My only complaint would be with the store I bought it at. They only had white (I work in a maintenance shop) so keeping it clean is a full time job. (That would be the only mark downs for the stars below)
