I purchased two units. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but at least my home will be cool. They were much heavier in the box than I expected. Hopefully they will be easy and light weight enough for me to install. Sadly, I haven’t unboxed/ installed yet, as our weather is still cold. Fingers crossed for a great experience.

The Windmill feels like a solid AC option from a still-learning/growing company. Pros: beautiful design, excellent assembly instructions, compatibility with voice assistants, lightning fast customer service. Cons: lacks a Dry mode, app can be a little clunky (I’d love it if they moved “Night Mode” to a more prominent place in the app). If the hardware or software are updated to address the minor cons in future iterations of the Windmill, it would change this from a good product to a great one.

Absolutely love the large 10,000 BTU Windmill. Quick setup, easy to install, sleek modern design, and feels like central air and a cool breeze on the first floor of our home. Best decision we ever made to upgrade from an old air conditioner that just blew air into one room. The upward motion of the fan cools 2-3 rooms for us!

I compared a couple models of WiFi enabled window air conditioner units with minimalist design, and chose Windmill for the ease of setup. Install and setup took less than 30 minutes. Unfortunately the extra roll of foam insulation was missing from my box. I hope customer service will remedy this oversight. Otherwise, it’s day 2 and all is working fine.

I got this for my bedroom. We have central air but with the 90+ degree days it wasn't cold enough for me. It was easy to install. My Husband and Son had installed within an hour. It is nice looking, not too bulky. I got the smaller unit and it keeps my room a cool 65 degrees. Love the remote control also. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

The machine works wonderfully, it cools down my larger living room/dining room so well! However the "ease of install" is a bit deceptive for those of us in older homes. I didn't realize that I'd need to have extra pieces of wood to prop it in my windows UNTIL I opened the box and saw I was being directed to the support site for additional install instructions as I have storm windows. Along with needing to find small wood pieces to prop the front of the machine, the side panels left some gaping holes in the window from. Which, honestly, is fine as I'm used to having to add in some tape on other air conditioners. The unit works so well that I'm totally fine to overlook this, but having that information more upfront on the website would have left me more prepared.

The AC is lovely, basically the coolest window AC I have ever seen, but I would like to gush about the responsive and helpful customer service. I really appreciate the help with my oddball problem (nothing the company did wrong, just me trying to track down a theft when fedex delivered to my porch). You guys are appreciated for taking the time to get me a new unit and answering my questions.

Amazing little ACs. Pretty in my apartment and being able to turn them on from anywhere with my phone really helps! I travel a lot so being able to cool my apartment down from the airport so it’s nice when I get home is a game changer! I have one in every room!

I ordered the AC through Wayfair, and it was making loud noises which I reported to windmill support. They helped me to figure out solutions, but after following some instructions it still made the same noise. They sent me a replacement and now I'm so happy!! No noise at all, I ran it first through the fan in high speed just in case and I have no issues at all.

My first windmill had an issue with the temperature setting. After a month and a half after installation, the temp. on the unit would drop to 60 degrees and I could not raise it up with the phone app, remote or using the control on the unit. I contacted support and they responded within a few hours . We tried several steps to resolve the issue with no luck. Windmill then sent me a replacement unit and informed me to keep the old unit. Excellent support and response Windmill!!.
