My 6,000 BTU Windmill A/C was replaced by Windmill even though it was a couple of months out of warranty. It had an E2 error that, even though the unit blew plenty of cold air, I could only control it with the remote or Android app. Customer service was helpful in walking me through the troubleshooting process and when I was unable to clear the code, the said they would send a new unit. It arrived in a couple of days. THAT IS GOOD COMPANY SUPPORT. And while I was disappointed that the unit threw a code at all, I was thrilled at the positive company response. You won't get that with LG or GE. Nope.

If you’re looking for a window air conditioner that can circulate the air (not blow directly on you), look sleek, easy to install with full proof instructions, can be operated remotely, and is QUIET - I recommend the WINDMILL air conditioner! I’ve done my research and they’ve obviously done theirs! I could not be more pleased and I promise that you will be as well! Oh … and on top of all this, they have an amazing customer service!! Please do yourself a favor and enjoy the the hot summer months with a cool and quiet environment indoors!

I spent more time fretting over window measurements than actually installing the unit. It was quick, easy and simple as they claim. Works great and looks even better. I am very happy with my purchase and choice. I Would recommend this AC to anyone looking for both function and aesthetics. The apps work and has no issues.

I bought this for my 6 month old son’s room. I knew it would be really helpful to have a system that could be controlled via my phone and also set up schedules. So far, that part has been AMAZING. Like, life-changing. I also liked the sleek design and that he could put his little fingers in the vents (like on a traditional window unit). I liked that it seemed fairly kid-proof. The only cons I have so far (after using it for a week): 1. it blows air out the top of the unit. Did I miss this somewhere? I had just assumed it would blow out the front like every other AC unit. The reason this isn’t ideal for us is because we have a blackout shade and it kind of blocks the air flow. 2. The temperature sensor on it is totally wacky. Our baby monitor also has a temperature monitor AND I have a heat reader tool and the Windmill machine often reads 10-12 degrees off (too cold). I wanted to set the AC to go on if it got to a certain temperature in baby’s room (74 degrees) but it would actually trigger at 62 degrees. I have absolutely no idea how this machine is reading the temperature of the room but it is very, very, very inaccurate. Would I buy another one? It stinks that the temperature sensor is so far off, but I do think I’d buy another one. It looks really nice. And I’m a sucker for things that look sleeker than more traditional counterparts.

The 10k BTU air conditioner that I ordered was damaged in shipment. I got in touch with Windmill's customer support, and they were in real-time conversation with me via e-mail to troubleshoot the problem and then determined that the unit needed to be replaced. They worked with me to schedule shipment so it would fit my availability, and followed up to make sure all was well. Thank you Eddy and the rest of the Windmill support team!

We ordered the 10,000 and 12,000 btu units of the WhisperTech model and absolutely love how quiet it is, ease of use and installation and you barely know it is on. Will never buy another AC now. The air blows so you can be in front of the AC and not have it blowing on you; thereby increasing the usage of any room.

It was super easy to install, very clear instructions for someone who is spatially challenged like me. It runs quieter than my old ac and puts out high quality clean air. I also really love the eco setting! It's saved me so much energy and money already! If you're on the fence, buy this AC.

My studio apartment is 26 feet long by 13 feet wide with the windows at one end and the bed at the other. It had been impossible to find an a/c unit that could span the length. The Windmill does it easily . The angled air flow has the cool air hitting the ceiling and then flowing down to the other end. I can now sleep in cool air and also sit by the windows without frigid air blowing on me. The unit is very quiet. I can have a conversation even if I’m sitting right in front of it. I don’t’t have to turn up the volume on the TV to hear. It was easy and quick to install, easy and quick to clean the filter and the phone app is great. If you’re looking for a new a/c, I strongly encourage you to buy the Windmill. It’s a bit more pricey than other standard units, but it is well worth the price!

I love my Windmills, they are the perfect air conditioner for smaller rooms such as my study, where the air doesn't blow directly on my desk and me--and also ideal for bedrooms, since they are--and I am so looking forward to my new super quiet Windmill--quiet, well insulated, and maintain an even temperature thanks to their excellent thermostatic controls. The low profile and pleasant cover are also an asset--also in situations where the machine can be seen from outdoors, the grille is more like a nice garden fence than an a.c. exterior. Congratulations to this extension of a family tradition in the air conditioning business. And also thanks for the charming covers. Last but not least, the customer service is exceptional.

My husband and I received our new Windmill AC, and installed it pretty easily, which took about 35 minutes. We just turned it on today for the first time, and it's terrific! No complaints. In fact, we now plan to buy another one for another room... The only thing I didn't see in the instructions is how to change the filter, but perhaps it's self-intuitive.
