Mostly rotten cherries

I used the Club Pick Up optionn and was given a container of rotten cherries. I thought the person shopping for me would've done a better job at inspecting my produce, but I was wrong. The cherries actually smelled rotten, so I can't understand how that could be missed. I called the Club and was advised it was “their annual sale day”, so they were certain it was an oversight. I feel that was not a great excuse.
