- 4 out of 5 stars review11/4/2022I purchased 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 255/45ZR20 (105Y) XL I like the tires however the date code on the tires were: 1 tire in 2017 2 tires 2018 1 tire 2019 I’m very disappointed in how old these tires are coming from Tire Rack! I’m happy with the ride. Lee was very helpful when ordering.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S!
Chief123Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/23/2021What a perfect pairing for my older QX50. We've had a rainy December in San Francisco. I usually drive my Jeep. However since installing these Pilot AS4 my old Infiniti 3.7 AWD thinks she is a sports car. My favorite feature other than the handling is wet roads and deep water at 70mph plus there is not a single hint of Hydroplaning. The wheel doesn't so much as tug. I'm talking puddles on I-580 that span 4 lanes of road. Other than a quick flick of the wiper blades; there isn't even a perception you just hit a puddle. Dry cornering at the limit at least on my Infiniti, with the driver assist off and foot on the gas hard, she drifts predictably giving lots of warning. These tires test your driving skills, not the other way around. If you are...

MIJ2017QX50Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review2/28/2021These tires have great grip even in the heaviest of rains however you pay for this with 15-20% range loss in all driving conditions in my Tesla Model 3. I normally only drive it locally but now I can't really take it on long trips because it will require charging stops.
Telsa: 15-20% range loss but great grip.
quiksterOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/17/2020I waited to purchase these All Season 4's because I previously had the All-Season 3+'s on my last vehicle. I wanted to try the newest version. The A/S 4 is incredible. It feels grippier and more progressive as it transitions in a slide. The grip level is incredible for an all-season tire. And they're very quiet - noticeably quieter than the A/S 3+. As an added bonus, the sidewall and tread of this tire is great looking. Little details like placing the tire warning's along the rim protector as opposed to on the sidewall and the "velvet-look" logos. I'd definitely buy these again and have recommended them quite often.
Amazing tire at a great price.
Super17Originally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareMichelin customers ROCK! Thanks so much, Super17. - 4 out of 5 stars review2/6/2021I am hesitant to give a 5 star, because these tires on my Miata, seem to lack smooth steering. For example, when you just slightly turn the wheel, it jumps like it had difficulty going over its own tread?????, then when you turn back slightly it sticks and jumps. Very subtle, different then the OEM tires that were on the vehicle. Wish I really knew what was going on. Air pressure is what is on door jam. I may vary tire pressure and test.
Looks great on Mazda Launch edition MX-5

Yo... - 5 out of 5 stars review2/27/2021I am blown away by my new AS4s!!! I have a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS. I drive spiritedly and daily drive my car. I came off of Toyo Extensa hp2s and let me just give it to Michelin. There is NO comparison. I have driven only 400miles on them but the All Season 4 is one great tire! They feel so smooth on the road and highway. I feel the grip and superb steering response driving compared to what I was driving on before. Road noise is minimal and actually very quiet from what I was used to. I am now a Michelin customer for life! Thank you Michelin for developing the best all season tire I have ever driven on.
INCREDIBLE!!
cobaltmattOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareThanks, cobaltmatt, for sharing the love. We appreciate your feedback and your commitment to Michelin tires. - 5 out of 5 stars review8/23/2022I replaced the original tires on my 2011 Z06. I noticed an immediate smoother ride and much less noise in the car. Straight line acceleration is very similar even with the heads and cam mods. I am not easy on the car and drive aggressively when I take it out. I was considering a higher performance Michelin tire but am pleased with the All Season 4. How long they last is TBD.
For me better than stock on my Z06
VinnyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/7/2021Just upgraded from run flat p zero and I instantly felt the diff in ride and very pleased with these tires so far and mine r very quiet. Will update if anything changes but my first impression I couldn’t be more pleased Worth the wait on getting these because of all the back orders going on

BeamerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/11/2024I have been a Michelin owner for more than 40 years and have only had 2 issues in all that time. One was a bent suspension arm that tore 2 tires to shreds. The other was a 3 inch spike that blew a tire, neither of these were Michelin issues and have trusted the brand forever.
40 years and still counting
DinoD60Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/18/2024I ordered new wheels for a Mercedes Metris van but the supplier noticed they were slightly damaged before shipping them. I ended up selecting a slightly wider wheel and noticed the Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires were available for this wider wheel. I bought them since I’ve run through a few sets on the Porsche and they were excellent. Now, do I need tires speed rated at 186 mph on a van - no - but for just a little more than a lesser tire I picked up some tires I feel confident with, especially with passengers. Ok, it’s overkill but they looking freaking great!
Great tires
DonsanOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/15/2025Just had these tires installed on my Kona Urban Edition. (Pilot Sport AS4) I am very pleased with the sporty look of these on my car. Also it was raining pretty hard while driving with these and found them very responsive with very good braking as well. (While following recommended speed limits) Another plus is that they are quiet! Very smooth ride too. Both on Highway and town driving. I feel they grip the road exceptionally well. They should serve me well for my driving needs. Highly recommend.
Sporty Look with a Smooth Ride!
TurbotouristOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/15/2023I purchased a set of pilot sport all season 4 plus 285/45 r20 y 112. I noticed that the tread design on the left of the car is pointed in an upward tread direction (^) and the right side is in the downward direction (v). All four tires say "outside" on tire wall. I have never seen a tire that has opposite directional patterns from right side of vehicle to left side of vehicle. Please shed some light on this and/or let me know if I should return to the shop that sold this set to me. All this being said, tires show exceptional grip and road confidence in dry conditions.
Perplexed
GLOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/14/2025I put a set of these Michelin Pilot 4 season tires on my 2007 Corvette to replace 10 year old Pilot Super Sport Tires. There is no comparison in ride quality and road noise compared to the Pilot SS tires they replaced that tended to be harsh riding and noisy.
Great tires no regrets.
lugnut47Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review12/15/2021I put these tires on my 2017 VW GTI SE as a replacement for the Pilot Sport AS3+ that I had on there for the past couple of years. I loved the AS3+, the car had really great grip and it handled like it was on rails. The steering feel and turn in was very sharp and there was almost no lean in corners. The AS4 has somewhat better ride quality than the AS3+ and great grip but the sharp cornering feel and confidence in handling curves isn't there as with the AS4. It feels more like a grand touring tire with a grippier compound whereas the AS3+ feels more like a performance tire with the ability to be used in cold weather and light snow.
Not as good as the previous version
asus389Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/15/2023Pilot sport All Season..absolutely love them Although I have low mileage on my vehicle I wanted to replace the run flat tires with the Michelins. I have had Michelin in the past so I was excited to see this tire. best decision. Ride is smooth, quiet love how they are performing. I will be driving a lot more now and I’m sure the grandkids will enjoy the rides more too.
Beaming.Love them
AMZOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review4/15/2022Bought these for my Mercedes S550 4matic at 80,000 miles Today at 104,000 am showing cords through 2 front tires Rotated less than a month ago and no mention of any issues. AS3 not 4 Seems like dramatic sudden failure for no apparent reason. Dealer tells me Michelin is not what they used to be as far as handling warranty issues and I will likely eat the full cost of a new set How come my rear tires did not show this wear since they had been on the front prior to this rotation?
Questionable Quality. Where does the company stand?

Excellent snow and ice performance for a non-snow/ice tire. It takes real work to break traction, even with traction-control disabled during wet weather. Do NOT confuse the Pilot Sport AS4 (High-Performance All-Season M+S rated - 45k warranty) for the Pilot Sport 4S (HP soft compound Summer "only" tire - 30k). Several of the negative reviews on here clearly suffer this confusion over the 4S.
Excellent all-season performance tire
WRXerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review9/26/2024I bought mine for an Audi A6 3.0T Quattro when the car had 52k miles on it. Absolutely loved how they handle on wet and dry roads. However, super disappointed with tread life. I have 81K on them now and one tire is almost completely bald, and the others might have 2/3K left until they look similar. Not an alignment issue either as they were rotated and tread is worn evenly. We swear by Michelin tires, and love the Defenders on our Yukon, which is why I’m being fair with 4 stars. But I will probably consider something else to replace these Pilots for this particular vehicle.
Very Good A/S tire, expect less tread life than Warranty states
BradGOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/17/2023Great tires but they don't last. I'm at 46000km and they are down to the wear bars and not even three years old. Like I said, no other issues except for tread life. I would give it five stars if lasted 80000km or even 70000km . Driven on a Lincoln MKX with no aggressive driving.
They don't last
bruinsOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/21/2020I bought 4 tire from American tire, Mr Alec recommend this tires I was so happy that I choose this tires far better than the original Tesla Model 3 tire is a 10% noisey than the original O.E.M tire. Overall is a excellent product. I would buy this tires again in the future.
Excellent tires
