My mom is and over the road truck driver delivering camper trailers all over the country. Her 2008 Silverado 3500HD has nearly 550,000 miles on it. She is on her third set of Michelin - Michelin Defender LTX M/S. 3 Sets of 6 tires per set(18 tires) none of them have ever blown out. The least amount of miles she has gotten out of a set is 103,000 miles the most was 120,000 miles on the last set. These things perform and are well worth the investment.

I have kept only Michelin tires on my vehicles. I have a 2002 GMC 2500HD with 155000 miles. I just put my second set of Michelin tires on the truck. The truck is used for day to day driving and travel, towing a 31' fifth wheel. The tires give great control and are long lasting. Well worth the money!

I bought the Michelin Defender tires to replace the Michelin tires that came on my 2019 Ford F150 truck. The new tires have excellent traction and stability dealing with all kinds of road conditions. Like the original set, the new Michelin tires are the most quiet truck tires I've ever had, with absolutely no road whine. When the time comes, I'll definitely look at Michelin first.

My previous tires (another brand) were smooth as glass on my 2014 Buick Enclave, but they were exceptionally noisy and wore out in less than half the miles warranted. I put on these Michelins, and aftrer three tire shop balances, they were still vibrating. Noise level was fine, but the shook the entire car above 60 mph. My favorite independent auto repair shop discovered that my tire shop had not distributed the weights correctly on these Michelins, and gave me a proper, courtesy re-balance. That made a big improvement, but there is still a slight vibration above 60 mph. This is not my first set of Michelins. Most have been great, although there was one set that did not deliver on the treadwear mileage. Besides the ongoing vibration problem, these Michelins are the roughest riding tires I have ever owned. They transmit every pebble and pavement crack through the entire car. They even vibrate over glass-smooth asphalt. I am extremely unhappy with these Defender LTX M/S - so much so that I will likely never buy another Michelin tire.

The absolute best tire on the market in my opinion. I have always been a fan. Like many other drivers I have tried other brands when deals seemed to good to pass up, however, I have always returned to Michelin. The old saying, "you get what you pay for", is very true and aptly applies. These tires have the best ride and are extremely dependable. They will always be my first choice when new tires are needed.

Mounted on F350 4X4. Tires now have 40,000 miles, and appear to be almost new (Hope to "get" another 40K). Ride is difficult to evaluate, with a vehicle that normally has a stiff ride, but is acceptable when such is taken into consideration. Mileage on this vehicle is never going to be comparable to any smaller vehicle , but 15 to 18 mpg on the road is reasonable with an engine of this size (7.3L). Would I purchase them again?? With no hesitation.

I do mechanical design work and I am an avid mountainbiker; as a result, I know the importance of product quality and functionality; espesially where the "rubber meets the road". Two things matter on my SUV: tires and battery. I have tried many different tires and nothing compares to these. Long tread life, dependable hold, and precise control. Put these on and you are set for years to come.

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. For my last six vehicles I’ve bought Michilens when it came time to replace originals. Nice ride and good handling. These are the same in that respect. However the mileage dropped immediately and consistently from the original tires. I am averaging 15% to 20% LOWER gas mileage since I had these put on. All that great tread is going to give me is several thousand more miles of less than optimal gas economy.

For the second time one of my tires has split on the sidewall. The last time Michelin said my husband must have run over something. Now the second tire has also split on the sidewall. Don't know how these got all of these good reviews. We will never buy another Michelin since they seem to be junk!
