We got these 2 seasons ago to replace the tires on our Explorer just before a road trip from BC to Alberta. The tires wear and ride much nicer than the Ford O/E tires. The deep treads were great in heavy rain. After 30,000 they are mostly as new … we change to snow tires for 4-5 months of the year. Ford should use these as their O/E tires …

My first set of this tire lasted through 130,000 miles and I am now on my second set of the same one. Traction in snow is far beyond reasonable expectation...they are reasonably quiet and comfortable...the best I can find for my Explorer. What more can I say? I have absolutely no complaints and have even convinced my wife to put Michelins on her Honda.

I bought this tire a couple of weeks ago and can not believe the difference this tire has made in the performance of my Silverado. It doesn’t feel like the same truck. Ride, steering, tracking in dry, wet and off road conditions is Excellent, with no noticeable noise. This is a very comfortable riding tire for a truck. Highly recommend these tires. I am on my 2nd set of LTX MS tires now with over 140,000 miles with 60% tread currentlt on my 2005 GMC Sierra. I can't believe I get 80,000 miles on a set of tires! I prefer the smooth ride of the GMC over the Mercedes, in fact I almost always drive the GMC. Need;ess to say, I am sold on Michelin!

These tires were original equipment for my 2009 Honda. My current ones have 90k miles and are finally being replaced. Super traction in the snow, I never had a problem, and I live in NE. That is 5 hard winters of driving and I can count on one hand the number of times my vehicle traction control actually came on. Remarkable. Another storm coming, time for some new sneakers for the truck.

The Michelin Defender LTX are great quality tires and have a luxury ride. I have purchased my second set of these tires. The first set had almost 100,000 miles on them and still were in usable condition. I highly recommend these tires for high mileage and smooth ride.

This is an excellent tire. I am on my second set and the tire wears for over 75,000. There is no area that this tire is average, excellent is all area's. You can buy this tire and forget about problems with tires or problems in driving do to tire limitations.

In my honest opinion, there is NO better tire for SUVs operating in northern climates than the Michelin LTX M/S. They provide a quiet, comfortable ride, with great handling and uncompromised wet traction. They are the only tires that I have found that will climb my steep driveway, when it's covered in packed snow. They even helped my RWD van get up the drive!

I recently purchased a set of the LTX M/S tires for my Work truck the ride & handling was so impressive that I went back & purchased another set for my pleasure Truck much heaver duty tire than I needed but it rides great if you have a truck this is the tire you need.

back on 5-10-13, I said I had 193000 miles, and hoped to make it to 200000, well I did, now at 201000 miles on tires, looking for replacements in a while, but definitely they have to be Michelin's, oh btw, tires are on a 2002 Chevy trail blazer w/ 276000, and still strong
