Great Tires

I just had a new set of Firestone Destination AT/2 size 275/65/18 installed on my 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor & they are true to form a fantastic tire. Traded in the OEM tires General Grabber's & now the truck handles so much better both on & off road. I've put Firestone Tires on all my vehicles for many decades because they are simply the best performing tires.

Destination AT/2 Replacing Destination AT

Just replaced the original Destination AT tires that lasted over 62,000 miles. I was hesitant on the AT/2 but thus far I am very happy with the ride and performance of these tires. Nice quiet ride as well. Not the cheapest tire on the market but you get what you pay for and so far these tires have met and exceeded my expectations.

2022 Honda Ridgeline

Replaced my stock 245/60r/18s with an oversized 265/60r/18s, added over a half inch in height and gave it a more aggressive look. Grips excellent in rainy conditions, could not tell it was wet outside. Best bang for your buck and good looking, not as aggressive as a Falken but it does the same job for less. Will buy again every time.

Never before

I have never had a set of tires like these! I had 70K miles on them and had it not been for winter right around the corner, I know they would have made it another 5K +! My Jeep came from the factory with these tires, so why look for better? I don't think it exists!

Perfect Tire - No Longer Being Made?

Got these P255/65R17 80,000 miles ago, truth, 80,000 miles. Perfect fit for the TH (Trail Hawk), get 27 mpg on lower-end inflation, for 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk v6, Arizona, all conditions on and off road, over 100 degrees in Tucson to snow in White Mountains. Has been as perfect as perfect gets, but now Firestone dealer tells me it is not made but it could be the website is STILL incorrect?

Continued Customer

My two older Jeep Cherokee's have had Firestone tires for the last 6 years. I prefer these so much that I replaced the tires early, taking my newer vehicle getting the new tires, and my older vehicle getting the set with 13k miles driven on them. I have taken them off-roading plenty of times, driven in ice/snow, and highway miles. Never failed to satisfy.

Keeping it Real

OK, we put 350 Miles on our vehicle every weekend pulling some sort of Trailer, 80% Highway-20% two track, Boat Ramp, sand, gravel, snow and such. All I can say is we use our Truck for what it was designed to do. this set of tires show's maybe 30% wear! not to mention none of them took any major weight to balance. I did upsize to 285/70/17 with no interference issues. last year 11" of snow fell while I was in the timber hunting, driving out was a non-issue, hitting the untouched main road, again 18 miles of confidence. I'm not trying to sell anything, but would rather like to share what is working out very well for our crew of Misfits. catch us in Hale Michigan, if you can Find us!!!

Replacing Designation A/T Tires

I purchased the Designation A/T2 tires with the hope that they will perform the same as the Designation A/T that I was replacing. These tires had over 57,000 miles and if it wasn't for winter I easily had enough tread for another 10,000 miles or so. They were nice and quiet on the road and pretty good in the snow too. Nice looking too with the outlined white letters.

Second set of Destination A/T tires

Replaced a set of Goodyear Wrangler Adventure All Terrains that were completely worn out with only 26K miles on them (will never buy Goodyears, thankfully they were given to me as I would hate to waste my money on such a poorly made product) I had the "first generation" of Destination A/T tires on the same Tacoma a few years ago and they were AWESOME! They were rated for a 50K mile warranty and I put 73K miles on them with zero issues. I merely set the tire pressure to Toyota's recommended setting, rotated them every 10K miles, made sure to torque the lug nuts by hand to Toyota's spec, kept the vehicle properly aligned, and drove like I had some common sense. When they came out with the Destination A/T2 I knew I would more than likely buy them and while I haven't had them that long, so far so good. Hopefully they will give me as good service. The old 'Yota has 327,000 miles on it and these tires make it ride well. Great tires!!! Thanks Firestone!

Happily impressed

First time getting the FS Destination AT2s in the P245/60R18 size. I ended up getting a second set for my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz AWD because I was so impressed. Ive had multiple brands of ATs including Bridgestone, Falken, Toyo, and BFGs, and these Firestones are the first to get their advertised miles out of them. Mileage wise, these are the first AT tires I've owned that made it to 48K miles. I could have made it to the 55K mark but here in Montana you cannot ride on bald tires. Our weather is too unpredictable and inclement weather can hit at any time. I had 3 -4/32nd left on the set. When I first got these tires, I was able to do 75 mph+ in a Montana blizzard at -30F in 6in+ snow in perfect control. At the 3-4/32nd depth, you really take a hit on control/traction in rain and snow, and I was starting to hydroplane at 65-70mph for the first time. Street: great braking and control. Fairly quiet. Not H/T tire quiet, but significantly definately quieter than Falkens or Toyo ATs Resilience: they are pretty tough, the took a lot of hits while cruising to Yellowstone and Glacier National park and kept going. However, I did pick up a screw which resulted in a slow leak on one time. Fuel efficiency: Took maybe 0-1 mpg loss from all season/street tires. Negligible All Terrain capability: They do great in gravel, mud, and forest land. I did not get a chance to try it in sand. Never got stuck once. These tires consistently test well on YouTube and I can only confirm these are the best all around AT tires. If you are considering them, buy them, You can't go wrong. As soon as my 2024 4x4 Chevy Silverado RST OEM Territory ATs go dead, I will be getting a set of these for it as well.
