Love the Stanley 1200!

The carrying handle is definitely different from other jump starters. It has a textured handle that makes it easy to grip and carry. The controls on the front are easy to use. The on/off switch, the air compressor level, lcd, and USB power buttons are pretty self explanatory. There are 3 USB charging ports. The LED is easy to rotate around. The jumper cables are figured eighted around the side, but when used are about 2 feet long. Overall, I’m very happy with this unit.

Great combination power & air unit!

We have used our portable power device several times already to jump start batteries. It came fully charged, which was nice. The only negative so far is that it is quite heavy, but we plan to keep it in our SUV in case of emergency, so we won’t be picking it up and carrying it too often (we hope). We have used it to jump start our tractor. It was more than capable of jump starting it twice in one day. We also used it to jump off my husband’s old truck that we needed to move. The programmable psi desired on the air compressor is a nice feature. No more stopping to check the psi to reach the desired amount. The usb charging ports will come in very handy next time we have a power outage as well!

Great battery pack and compressor.

This battery pack has all of the features you ask for from a battery pack. The USB ports are extremely handy for charging phones and rechargeable flashlights. The built in work light is adjustable to direct the light wear you need it. 1200 peak amps will jump start any light vehicle and some heavy duty vehicles. The compressor is adequate to air ATV and passenger car tires.

Portable and powerful Stanley Jump Starter

Super powerful charger and jump starter. Not only can you jump start your battery, but also includes a powerful and portable air compressor. The air compressor is 120 PSI. Also includes 3 USB Ports and AC outlet.

So many uses!

What a great product! While this is great to keep in my car for jumping a dead battery or pumping up a low tire, I also love the other functions. We used it for camping this past weekend for charging our devices. The fact that it had 3 USB ports is amazing! Using the flashlight was great for middle of the. Ought, but also very functional if needing to jump start or fill up tires in the late night/early am! One thing I noticed was that while it was partially charged upon opening, the directions said it needed to be fully charged before using. It has a good, solid weight but really isn’t too heavy for me to carry around. All in all a great product for use in emergencies and will give me great peace of mind!

This Will Do It All

Got this for my son for Christmas. He was impressed with it. Has everything you need he said. He hasn't had to use it yet, which is a good thing.

Sturdy and portable

I finally had a chance to use this jump starter and it worked great! Its build seems high quality and durable. I had to use it to inflate my car tire after I noticed it was low one morning. The LCD screen is large and easy to read. I think the flashlight on it could be brighter but the fact that it articulates is a nice touch so you can point and shine. Overall very happy with this product.

Durable and simple operation

Overall this is a sturdy unit. It has a beefy handle for easy transport. The battery clamps are durable and have about 2 ft. of reach from the power station. Easy to read LED screen with easily recognizable icons to let you know what functions you are using. The 3 USB ports do not have a dust cover or plug. There is a small LED light on the side that is nice and bright but isn’t protected in any way so seems like it would be susceptible to breakage. The air compressor has about 2 ft of reach from the power station with adjustable pressure settings and auto shut off. They include a football needle for blowing up balls but there is no storage for it on the unit itself. The charging plug on the back of the unit has a rubber cover and is recessed to protect the prongs. Probably one of the better power packs on the market for the price.

Good but rather large in size

Unit took approximately 2 full days to charge although it does say it takes 40 hours. No problem cranking up a GMC Sierra. Good unit to carry with you since there is an onboard compressor for inflating tires as well. There’s also an attached led light which would be helpful for use at night. All around, this is a nice unit although a bit large. It would have been nice to have some rubber feet on the bottom though.

Not so great

Not thrilled with this product. First thing I noticed before I took it out of the box, was one of the plastic corner pieces was off. Not a huge deal, just looks like not enough glue was used. Second thing I noticed pulling it out of the box, the loose sticker. Seems like an adhesive issue again. Third thing I noticed was dust on top, now thinking this may have been a return. Plugged it in, and let it sit plugged in for a couple of days. The top bar never stopped flashing, so I couldn’t tell if it was fully charged, but meter showed 14 bolts. Unplugged it and the voltage settled to 13 volts, and the top bar stayed solid. I have a 2500 Silverado, with a slowly leaking tire. Decided to try out the compressor. Good sized tire, so I wasn’t sure it would be very fast, but connected the hose to the tire to give it a try. Started at 35.9 psi. Tan for about 10 minutes then turn off, assuming overheat protection. Tire now at about 45 psi. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then started it up again, ran for about another 10 minutes, then something in the compressor broke, rattling and no air output. Haven’t tried the jumpstart feature yet, but I’m going to keep it in my rv as a backup to combining my batteries for a jump start if the batteries all somehow die. I may have expected too much out of this, so I’m leaving 2 stars instead of only one, but it didn’t come with any user sheet/booklet and I couldn’t find anything on the Stanley website.
