I've always been impressed with Generac generators, so they were my only desire when we were financially ready to purchase a whole house emergency generator. We have a DD/ID adult son, so having one was important to us for his sake.

This month will be 1 year since activation of the unit. Expecting the installer to contact us for maintenance, but so far, nothing. Maybe they will contact in the coming weeks of May.

bought about a year ago but didn't get installed until fall of last year had a master electrician out here to get thing done right and approved by inspector and W.E. . programed and bingo all weas well an operating as it should

I recently purchased the 18k whole house generator due to the recent weather events and various power outages. I like the Generac reputation as well as the warranty.

Bought this a month ago and so far I'm fairly satisfied. Have had a couple of problems with it and still haven't received in paper my paperwork for my 10 year warranty

We paid over 10 grand just a year ago for brand new generac. It's only ran for 5 minutes at a time for its weekly test. We lost power 4 days a go. The generac kicked on and has ran solid. We haven't used much power. Mostly lights and fridge. This morning, the generac just quit. Went to check it out and it has blown oil out the side. They say our power is still a day, possibly from returning. Called generac and they can't get anyone here for at least 3 days. I'm very disappointed and sickened that we spent well over 10 grand on this product. I don't feel at all comforted ,now, for having it for emergency.

Saved for 10 years to buy this, staying in our home as long as possible. We lose power frequently. Would be a selling point someday.

I bought a 26KW 5/11/24 It has started for me at least 6 times we have lost power. Most times it was for 2 or 3 hours. Once about 8 hours.

Had it installed last 2025 and lost power for almost 2 days …. It was great to have the whole house protected!!

I bought my Generac going on a year now. It has been very productive and reliable. Very happy with the product.
