We have had the unit for about 10 months. It now tests twice a month for 10 minutes self checking and keeping the oil moving around. We had an outage the week after it was installed while we were away. I received a notice of it working, via the app, as it was supposed to do. We have had two other outages last year. The unit performed perfectly. So far so good! I had a year of complimentary wireless coverage. I just signed up for the next year. While not really a cheap benefit, it is nice to have. I may change to testing once a month later. We used to have outages every other month around my neighborhood due to weather, trees and old lines. Consumers has done a good job of cleaning up the lines and overhanging trees. The outages are fewer now, but as an older person, I now join the group of people that are more susceptible to cold, heat and less flexibility in dealing with the inconveniences of power outages. Our Generac should make things easier!

It's great to have a backup whole-house generator for emergency situations. The only negative is the battery only lasted one year. I have a five year warranty and the battery isn't covered.

The only concern was that the installer had difficulty setting up the weekly Exercising. After three attempts, this was corrected and is now working correctly.

I didn't want it but my wife did. I said we won't need it very much. After it was installed, there were 2 weekends in the following month that we needed it the whole week end. I changed my mind on our need of it. Ran everything we used.

Instillation of our 26kw Generator went smoothly. We haven't had to rely on it yet for any power outages, but it does fire up once a week as scheduled for testing.

We are so very happy to have our new generator. It's a peace of mind that we never had before. The WIFI and app really make it easy to use and also to know if any maintenance is due as well as testing itself every week. We love it!

I have had it running for about year and a half, I do like the generator in general, starts and switches very smoothly, and shuts down once power comes back up very well, great protection. The App I have not been able to connect to generator.

I am very pleased with my Generac generator. The sales, installation and support processes have been stellar. I feel very confident that when the power goes out that we will be protected and safe with our Generac generator.

Living in Maine we experience the uncertainty of power outages. We are retired and the ease and peace of mind during storms has been wonderful. Wish we'd invested years ago.

I bought this a month ago to replace my 21 year old 16K unit that had developed a gas leak. Didn't want to invest $1400 in repairing that Old of a unit.
