Had some Issues with a bad hunting problem with the motor after the unit was installed , it took several return visits from the installer to get it to run smooth , it has been two months now and it seems to be running OK on its weekly run , other than that I like it

Very pleased with generator !!! Tested auto start feature and generator started in six seconds. The instruction manual section on setting up auto test could be a little clearer !!! I called Generac and they walked me thru the set-up !!! Very happy with generator !!!

The day after we completed our installation and testing, the power went out due to high winds and storms, withing a few seconds of the power dropping the generator kicked in and we had power once again. The power was out for approximately 2-1/2 hours and when it came back on the generator shut down as expected and is ready for the next outage. Awesome to have such a reliable and efficient product to place peace of mind and a safe feeling up here in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan where the weather brings ice and snow this time of year. We added the cold weather kit and Mobile Link unit as well just to make sure all is ready.

We have only had Generac backup generator a few months. During that time we have had some power outages. The power went out and within 5 seconds Generac back up generator started and ran just as promised until the power returned (close to an hour). We are reminded of the Generac's presence every 3 weeks when it tests itself by starting up and running for about 5 minutes. That is a reassuring sound!

The unit is very sleek The unit was a new investment for our facility Nice material for out side weather The lock system is very difficult to use with the key provided Key dose not fit well in the lock system The owners manual is very nice and user friendly Great trouble shooting guide At of this time we have no input about the function of this unit. The unit should met our needs. It should be reviewed at the end of a one year cycle.

The generator has not been called on to serve as emergency power yet. It does run once a week to "exercise". The unit is louder than I expected it to be from the DB rating you publish. That said, it is much quieter than my old 5Kw portable generator and I have your 22Kw unit. I am glad I went ahead with this project. One of the reasons I moved forward was the no cost extended warranty.

Our most recent purchase was a replacement unit for fhe original used unit we had for 10 years. We did not even hesitate when it came for the replacement. Our first unit was about 5 years old when we got it and it lasted another 10 years and was an absolute blessing when we needed it. So happy we installed a whole home generator shortly after we moved in!

Bought 2 months ago and not satisfied ,Contractor had to Come 4 weeks straight to deal with low fuel pressure fault/shutdown during weekly exercise. Not very confident that generator will work properly during loss of power due to these issues Contractor who installed where outstanding

The Wifi connection had to be replaced with a module that allowed for Ethernet connection cable. All customers I talked to tell me the same issue. The Wi-Fi will not connect and stay connected. When we have had shorter power outages, I would like the generator to wait at least 20-30 minutes before going back to Utility. It has to be much harder on the equipment going on and off too many times an hour. It has operated fine otherwise.

I purchased this 22 W backup generator about a month and a half ago and hope it works when I really need it. The installation went well and on time however I was not given any instructions on how the generator works or what I should do other than calling them if there’s a problem, I was given no information on how to set up the monitoring app on my cell phone at all so I have it on and I guess it’s OK but that’s about it.
