Met Our Expectations

So far our generator has been working as expected and after two winter storms, we are lucky of no main power lost. However it feels good to have our standby guardian on call, just in case. Winter is not over and the worst is yet to come, but we feel very safe.

Product seems to work well

Due to the long time it took to get gas service installed, my generator has only been in service for about a month. So far it has done its thing by starting and running once a week for self diagnostics. I have had one outage on my outside electrical service caused by a small animal, and the unit started in a few seconds and carried the house until external service was restored. Transfer back was very quick, so quick that I did not even notice the transfer and did not need to reset the clock on my microwave.

Generator provides a great feeling of security.

My wife works from home and before generator we when through a period of several power failures. Needless to say this caused problems. After much research I decided on Generac and have no regrets. Installation and setup were simple enough. Luckily God gave me the ability to understand and follow instructions. We've had the generator for about 8 mouths now and only needed one time, but it worked great. Just like it was supposed to. Wish we had it sooner! An excellent investment.

Generac 22 kw

The 22 kw generator is economically priced and is very easy to activate and setup. The wiring schematics are very easy to follow and installation is a breeze with the 200 amp service duty rated transfer switch. The transfer switch provides load shed capabilities to deenergize heat pump electric heat and other major loads when the electrical demand is high to prevent overloading of generator It's a good investment and a wise choice for standby electrical needs when your normal utility is off and the great thing is that it's fully automatic.

very happy with product, gives us great peace of mind.

We already were in need of the use of our generator when our electric was off for a few hours. It immediately came on and kept our house warm and lighted. It is a relief to know how dependable it is when needed. It ran so smoothly I wasn't even sure the electric was still off.

Works as expected

We've had the unit a couple of months and it has performed as advertised, we had a couple of power outages of 1 to 2 hrs each and the unit came on and switched to backup power without a hitch. A nice feature is the generator has a self test mode running once a week for 5 min so you know your generators ready to go in case of power outage. Would recommend to all.

Very impressed with the new models

I upgraded my Generac Guardian generator from 15KW version to a 22KW version (due to load increases). I have to say I am pleasantly surprised on the quality of power being delivered. The old generator fluctuated several hz (+-2 Hz) and had a hard time holding a steady voltage. We are using this generator to power a small data center, power quality is important as UPS don't like dirty power. This new generator holds voltage steady, the frequency is within +-0.1 Hz. Even when the large roof top air conditioning unit kicked in, the generator powered up and recovered the correct voltage and frequency within a second. The power monitoring is also a nice touch. Now I know when we loose power and if the generator kicked in or not. Although the old unit mechanically was working fine, visually the case was metal and rusted heavily. This new case is aluminum so we are expecting no rust.

product has a great appearance

The generator does its test every Wednesday at 1pm and is only on for 10 minutes, power went out for a couple of hours and the generator came on within seconds after the power went out and shut off when the power was restored, so far so good and now I won't have the wife upset when we don't have power, thank you " one happy customer"

Excellent quality product

This generator was purchased for a home in Belize and the sales and installation team were awesome. I have not had to use the generator but I have complete faith in the product and the installation. Was only disappointed the free Genarac pressure washer deal was not available in Belize. Thank you for a great product and a great team

Works like advertised

Works like advertised. I would recommend to anyone using LP gas that are not near a major road get a 1000 gallon tank. I purchased a 500 gal not realizing that they only fill to 80% or 400 gallons. I wish they had put a opening on the bottom of the housing to make run electric lines underground and up through the slab easy. It was hard to cut a whole through the base with a new whole saw.
