We had our Generac Generator installed yesterday May the 8, 2017 and the guys who installed it were very helpful with answering all questions. We loose power quite often and this will help so not having to run around in the dark and can still cook and what ever we need to do without loss of power.

The Generator enclosure looks great. Great balance between clean and subtle (does not draw attention from the house itself). We have not lost power yet to fully test this unit, but the self-test runs every Monday and is actually fairly quiet. Add in the 10 year warranty and the Professionalism of the Customer Service that I received while scheduling my free home site study has made this experience everything that I could have hoped for.

I did my research and found Generac to be the best for a full house generator. The price, the features, the size, the look and the company itself were all the reasons I decided to go with Generac. This was a perfect combination for our needs. I liked the product so much, I gathered 7 of my neighbors to purchase one as well. All did their own research and decided that this was the best choice.

Reading other reviews of 5 days from start to finish is shocking when I was told a 90 day+ time frame. Install was a nightmare with screw ups by the contractors plumber, little to no communication with my propane company was a major inconvenience. It's now up and running and quite honestly I thought it would be a little quiet than it is. But it does what is supposed to do. Will see at the next power outage.

Just went through 5 days without power in Michigan after a recent ice storm. My new 18kw generator performed flawlessly for 5 days powering my entire house. Temperatures got down into upper teens at night and upper 20s to low 30s on a couple days. I have real peace of mind knowing my power is backed up!

We were losing power all the time, so we decided to invest in a Generac. After we bought the Generac, we didn't lose power for 6 months! LOL When we lost power for the first time after the installation, the Generac kicked right on and ran for 13 hrs. until the power came back on. I love knowing that I don't have to drag out the Mr. Heaters and the oil lamps any more! The Generac is a lot quieter than I had thought it would be. When I am on the opposite end of the house from it, I can't hear it at all. When I am on the same end, it is just a "humming" sound. I love the comfort that my Generac gives me!

Very happy with my new generator. Provides a lot of peace of mind to know I will never be without power again. Glad I went with the 22kw full house. I was very surprised to learn about all of the features that I didn't realize it had - like the exercise function and wifi. Installation went perfectly - about 4 hrs. Works perfectly.

After going through multiple hurricanes with minimal power and multiple outages when I moved to my new house I made the commitment to be safe and keep comfortable during an outage. The unit is great and powers the whole house including the pool with no issues.

Installation was completed and unit tested at 10 am on 7/20/18. Literally minutes after, it came on automatically to the surprise of the installer who rechecked everything and stated "it's acting like you have a real power outage". And checking the neighbor's houses and calling Duke Energy, that was the fact. It ran for 6.5 hours and functioned flawlessly from startup to shutdown. It really saved the day. It was an unbelievable coincidence but gave me instant confidence in the product. With temperatures in the mid to upper 80's, this really saved the day and made me so glad I decided to purchase it and even gladder that it was installed and operational just in time.

Because we live in Connecticut where Eversource is a terrible supplier of power since every major storm knocks our power out for about 6 days, this unit has been very reliable since we had it installed in 2010. We have had three power outages of 6 days in that time, the latest from Tropical Storm Isaias which knocked out power for over 700,000 customers this past week. The generator started and ran for 6 days with no problems as it always has, powering 80% of our home with a steady, even supply of power. We have two propane tanks holding just over 200 lbs. of propane so the generator can run for 6 days without a refill. After six days we get the oil changed and the tanks refilled so it can go further, but usually right when we do that the power is restored. So this generator has been perfect for us. The unit has been hit by lightning once (we live on a 600 foot mountain on the top of it) so the motherboard has been replaced, and the engine recently needed to have its rubber oil seals replaced as it was leaking a little oil, but besides that the unit has held up tremendously well. If we need to replace it we will definitely buy Generac again as we have many times over saved a lot of money by not needing to go to a hotel when our power is out since we live on well water and without water - you cannot stay home very long even if you stock up on it.
