Used within first week of installation for 6 hours. Powered entire house inncluding 5-ton central air conditioning. Very nice. Only criticism is that literature focuses on Wi-Fi feature when our unit was installed with cellular connection. Discovered cellular after 45 minutes of trying to connect Wi-Fi. Suggest literature related to cellular be provided when cellular is installed.

We are very pleased with the generator,all of the equipment and especially the installation and set up!! With this year being as upsetting as it has been, our Generac generator will give us great piece of mind in knowing that we won’t be left in the dark!! I purchased Generac because of its reputation in the field. Most of the cellular communications field use these for backup power so I figured if they trust it to keep millions of dollars of equipment on the air why not me. My unit has worked faultlessly so far and I expect it to for many more years. The weekly exercise program and the auto start features are a god send. Being up in the mountains where we get heavy snow and loose power a lot, my worries are over and I can live with out worries of food spoiling no heat and the ability to cook for the family. If I did it again I would pick the exact same unit and have showed it to numerous neighbors and friends with demos.

This product is exactly what I wanted and powers my whole house. I had thought about a stand by generator for years and I'm glad I did it. The dealer was knowledgeable, the installers were great and efficient. If I had to do this again I would. I have recommended GENERAC to a friend and he is getting his installed on the 19th of January.

So wi fi is a great feature because I’m a widower and know nothing about motors. This way my phone will alert me to issues or maintenance needed so I can get a serviceman out to handle it for me. Generac has always been our brand to go to for generators etc. They are very reliable and dependable. Love it. The support group got me registered and a code for wi fi in no time at all. They were very friendly and polite. Services received means a lot to a person so Thank you for your kindness.

So we had 22kw installed for 3700 sq foot house a few years ago, mostly for zoned air conditioners I can't live without. However, we never really lost power for very long, once installed. I was thinking maybe shouldn't have purchased a generator, although the peace of mind was always nice. Then a few nights ago all these edgy news warnings of a nasty nor'easter on its way possibly taking out power in Philly area, and much of the east coast for that matter, from brutal high winds and wet snow. My wife and I were sitting in the comfort of our toasty home watching a movie Friday night and then boom! ...Total darkness from power outage. Could only hear high winds for about 10 seconds... and then... that transfer switch clicked and that wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, humming sound from the outside generator, and then a few seconds later on come the lights, the TV powers up, the furnace is working. The oven is on. Oh man I can't describe how great that feeling was. I looked outside to see our neighborhood development homes, but nothing but cold wind and total darkness. I almost felt guilty when I sat back down on the couch and asked my wife, " pass the popcorn please". My daughter even stopped by did laundry she needed for work with dryer. No problem for the generator. Power still out days later for many in area, but ours did transfer back to electric company. Everything did work perfectly. My Generac was just installed. The installer did a super job. The installation looks great. The visual of the generator is very good and enhances the overall view of my house. When it was turned on, I started every electric appliance in my house and the generator never missed a beat. I went through Harvey with a small portable generator to which I had to add gas and oil every few hours. Now I will be able to run everything and never add fuel because it runs on natural gas. Everything is automatic so I won't have to worry about electricity if I am gone during a storm. Pease of mind is worth a lot.

The crew from Gen Ready couldn't have been more professional. It was a 100+ degree day and they worked through the heat and cleaned up everything. They showed up on time. put blankets down inside the house, and explained everything when they were done. They coordinated the install with the gas company and made sure they were there on time also. We got our 13KW unit back in 2008. We just went thru Hurricane Zeta and the unit ran for ~20 hours straight with no issues what so ever. The power went out and about 90 seconds later the power came back on. We had lights, we had television, until the cable went out, we had A.C. (I didn't have to hear, "I'm hot" a single time), and we had coffee the next morning, all on about 50 gallons of LPG. I financed the unit through my credit union so payments were deducted from my check. After about two paychecks, I didn't even miss the money. I am definitely glad we made the investment and plan to upgrade to a Generac 22KW unit within the next year so.

This unit was purchased to replace a 20 kw destroyed by a flood. There was no hesitation on selection based on 9 years of wonderful performance by the 20 kw unit that was lost. It performed on numerous occasions and was responsible for a number of neighbors to follow our example on going this route. We feel secure and confident living in a rural area with outages that are too frequent.
