Generac Guardian 22kw generator will provide power to the entire house in event of a power outage. Unit is well constructed and designed for long term use. Fueled by natural gas it does not requre external fuel storage tanks and does not require periodic fuel resupply and does not have contamination issures common to diesel supplies.

Wrote a review when the unit was installed; 17 months later after its first application, I want to update. Power went out in the morning and between 20 & 30 seconds later the generator kicked in and performed flawlessly {for the next 3 hr and 56 min} until the power was restored. This is what the unit was purchased for and did not disappoint one little bit. Worth the peace of mind. I would recommend to any one seeking reliable performance and dedicated yearly maintenance.

This will be our second generator. We had one put in the house we sold, it came in handy a few times. We lost power a few times and it started right up. Since then, we built a new house, way out in the sticks and had the same generator installed. This area is prone to outages. I don't have to worry about losing power with this generator. This is my second whole house generator,the first was a 13kw installed 12 years ago. Decided to up grade to a 22kw because my load over the years has increased.it is quieter than the previous unit ,starts quickly when power is lost.Should be trouble free like the previous unit.

I’ve been waiting a long time to purchase my Generac Whole Home Generator. Having my new generator gives me a great sense of security. Since I was a child with Hurricane Betsy, we’ve never left our home for any of Louisiana’s hurricanes, We suffered thru the power outages and the heat and lots of ice chest full of food and drink. Pulling electrical cords and fans thru our home. And now we’ll be living in absolute comfort from the moment our power goes out to the moment our wonderful lineman restore power to our grid. Thank you Generac for having such a necessary product at a very affordable price.

In the first year after installing this generator, I had to use it 6 times. Once during the El Dorado Fire (gender reveal fire). It was 110 degrees out and someone set off explosives in a field nearby which ended up burning our mountain community for over a week. During that time there was no power from the grid. My generator kicked in and provided power for me, enough to keep all of the refrigerators running, A/C, well pump and TV. I don't know what I would have done without it, as it was over 100 degrees out and I couldn't open any windows due to extreme amounts of smoke from the nearby fire. I also rely on electricity to pump water in the house from the well. I was able to use all of my appliances. This generator has been a wise investment for me.

Crew showed up and went to work, one day was estimated and the job was done as promised. I just stayed out of the way and they went about the job as if it were changing a lightbulb. No delays, had all of the piping and electrical materials. Ran tests and explained how the machinery works. Answered all of our questions. Handed over the keys and manuals and we were quite satisfied. Job well done. Now I can laugh when thunderstorms hit.

It was installed in a timely fashion. The crew was on time. They cleaned up afterwards. I was very impressed with their knowledge and skills. Generator looks great. It’s quiet. Runs strong. The only downside is that bright green light when it’s dark. So much for being inconspicuous at night. Lol. I highly recommend this product. Actually I already have to 3 neighbors. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.

We lost power less than 24 hours after our generator was installed. After 25 years of many ,many power outages caused by trees falling all over Atlanta and taking out the power lines, we were so thrilled to have instant back up power like most of our neighbors. No more searching for lanterns and remembering to charge up phones and iPads with each approaching storm This Generator makes us so happy !! Sorry we waited so long!

I have been contenplating either solar or generator for a while now. I got an estimate for both and decided for the generac because of the words of other people I know, the looks of the unit, other reviews, and the installing company information. I also have used the installation company for other work in my home and the employees have been professional, polite, courteous, leave a clean work site when completed, and were on time.
