This is my first whole house generator. The first night after the install it came on twice through the night for about 10 minutes each time. So, it did its job by starting and operating. However, since then we have not had a power outage so hard to give a good review on this particular unit. However, my mother and father (God bless and rest there souls) had one for several years as my dad was bed ridden on an air mattress that needed to be inflated at all times. The generator worked perfectly for them coming on when needed and shutting down when not and I'm expecting mine to do the same. I thought my parents generator could have been a bit quieter but other than that it worked great. I would recommend this brand from my experience.........

We purchased the Generac system for our home about 6 months ago anticipating an active hurricane season in Hawaii. Luckily the hurricanes passed our remote island, but we did have several power outages due to high winds and downed power lines. One recently lasted 3 days! All of our refrigerated foods were not lost, we had lights in house and we were able to stay in touch with emergency news reports. We are very pleased with the efficient operation of our Generac. Best investment ever and have recommended it to all of our friends!

I have wanted this for years. Recently moved to a wooded rural lake home and didn't want to risk losing power. Not there full time and didn't want to lose frozen food if the power should be interrupted. I have also been without power due to ice storms in the winter. No longer an issue. Peace of mind is worth the cost to me.

We live in an area that the power goes off quite frequently. So we have already used the generac several times. I love it comes on automatically within minutes, and shuts off when the power comes back on. I wish we would have purchased one earlier. I highly recommend them!

Generac puts a nice package together with including the transfer switch. We lost power one time so far what a good feeling no interruption in electric no extension cords throughout the house from a portable generator .I can't hear it run it's quiet I need to go to the back of house to hear it when it exercises . It took 3 days to receive from the day I ordered.

Nice generator. The Generac concrete pad is a must in my opinion. Also the generator base trim piece. With both of these options, we are VERY pleased with our unit. A very clean look that Generac has come up with. Not the least bit sorry for purchasing Generac! Should have done it years ago.

Have been wanting a generator as I have well water and live in a cold climate. Unbelievably, we had a power outage for 2-3 hours just a few hours after installation was completed on the day before a holiday! Switches over without a blink. Great service from my installing electrician, and extended warranty to boot. Couldn't be happier, and so relieved to no longer have to worry about weather!

my utility company advised me of a short shut down that was going to occur on the same day my wife was coming home from foot surgery. She is also handicapped and uses an electric scooter outside the house and a small indoor scooter and a walker inside. I had planned for some time to put a small generator in. This event forced my hand to act quickly. I still do some business travel and felt I need full system protection and not just a small generator for emergency purposes. Adam from Left Coast gave me estimates for various equipment choices, we settled in on the unit I purchased capable of carrying my whole home power requirements. The staff had my unit installed two days later, in time for the planned power outage the evening of my wife's surgery. Everything worked perfectly, power came on as scheduled, and as main utility power returned cut over efficiently. The unit is planned to test itself for 5 minutes every two weeks and has done so, on time, every time. We couldn't be more pleased. Thanks for a "top of the line" DEPENDABLE product.

This unit replaced an older generator and doubled the wattage. The Power Management features permit the monitoring of our entire 300 amp service vs. 16 dedicated circuits previously. It's quieter, has a smaller footprint and the wireless module keeps me and our servicing company in constant touch.

We were out of town when the only power outage we have had since we purchased the generator occured. However, it appears taht the generator did operate during that outage. Our primary feelings is that we know we are prepared in the event of a long outage.
