[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband absolutely loves Kona Big Wave beer. He thinks it’s delicious and it reminds him of nice trips we’ve taken to Hawaii. It’s easy to drink and has a pleasant aroma. Great for bringing to a summer party.

Big Wave has a very light body with a bright flavor profile, making it perfect for a sunny summer afternoon or an evening inside. For me, it's the subtle citrus notes that give it a refreshing profile. I also get tropical fruit (pineapple) notes, while others find toasted nuts and grains, bananas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent, light tasting beer; however I was expecting a fruiter after taste being labeled as “liquid aloha”. Definitely a nice, light, summer beer nonetheless (I would say similar to Sam’s summer ale). Also not overly carbonated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kona beer has enticing packaging giving a tropical feel. The flavor is somewhat fruity to me or pine like. It's a small step above ordinary beer but nothing significant to make up for the higher price. It is a golden color ale. I found it tolerable but wouldn't purchase it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a nice light refreshing golden ale. Its a very easy to drink beer. You can taste the wheat flavor and with some slight sweet fruity flavors. It’s very proper for a casual cookout or a typical dinner night when you just want to relax. Its also very tasteful but light in comparison to other beers. However if you like darker beers then you probably wouldn’t appreciate the flavor of this one as it is light in body as mentioned above.

At home, 4 adults tried this exiting new beer to us. Collectively, we all enjoyed the mild scent and found the beer to be exceptionally smooth, crisp, and flavorful. None of us could place the aftertaste. Honestly, we would prefer the beer without the aftertaste. We were very fond of the original base flavor. How smooth and fresh it feels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect as the temps start to heat up! This brew is refreshing but tasty on a hot day. I like that they come in bottles which seems to make any beer taste better. The flavor is full with just a hint of tropical, but not in a perfumey way.
