The Bentgo kids lunch box is a bento-style box with five compartments sized for children 3 to 7 years old or anyone will a smaller appetite, really. One compartment is perfectly sized for a half sandwich or small portion of leftovers (my grandson loves to have orange chicken in the "sandwich" compartment. There are varying size smaller compartments for snacks, fruit, yogurt, a bit of candy, dipping sauce, etc. The edges of the box are rubber coated making it easy for a child to hold the box and it not slip or helps it stay in place on a table. The latches are easy to open and close. The removable tray inside is dishwasher-safe (top rack) and can be microwaved (under 3 minutes). The lunch box carries a 2 year warranty, is made with food-grade materials and is BPA free. I would have rated this Bentgo Kids lunch box as 5 star if it had some sort of handle for days when you just need to carry the box on it's own. I got this lunch box for our daughter to take to daycare. I like the compartments, they are perfect size for small lunches. The box is sturdy and holds up well with traveling back and forth to school. It is easy to clean, however, the rubber seals have developed some black spots. I have tried to clean these off and nothing seems to work, which is disappointing. I called customer service; they were very helpful and are taking care of the issue.

I bought my first bentgo 3 years ago and love sending these leakproof lunches with my son to prek. He can easily open it himself and put it away without assistance which is every teachers dream. Thanks for great customer service and an awesome product.

We have had this for about a year now and it's easy for my kids to pack their own lunches because they use the compartments as a guide for healthy food choices. Entree, fruit, veggie, something crispy, and usually use the middle circle for cut up cheese. The only issue we have had is the rubber seal getting mold on it but customer service has been easy to work with.

We have been using the Bentgo kids lunch boxes for years, but needed to add some new boxes to our collection so that my growing kids could take full size sandwiches and other larger items. The Bentgo Fresh is awesome and has the removable divider to offer even more versatility—my kids love their new Bentgos! Thanks for making a quality product that lasts (we still use our kids boxes for snacks and small meals to go!).

This is the most durable lunchbox in the collection. The top and bottom form a case on a hingle that locks over the food tray. This one gives the best clasp and seal. Ideal for older children or those that do not want to put much effort into closing clasps. Worry free because it will not break or get hurt in the dishwasher. Maybe it is too heavy and hard. This is why I have it one less star. I would like a cleaner shape, less curved and more slim for travel. I like the high gloss plastic. I would prefer raised letters instead of sticker letters for the Bentgo logo that could rub or wash off. To me, the appearance is as fun as the functionality. This lunchbox is a little big and clunky for me.

The Bentgo fresh lunch box is my absolute favorite. They are the perfect size for my 5-year-old, and he can open them easily for kindergarten. They are super easy to clean. The individual compartments are adequate size, and you can use the divider to make the large compartment big or small. A regular size sandwich fits perfectly in the larger compartment. They also fit in most children's lunch boxes which is a huge plus. I absolutely adore these containers and will continue to purchase them.

I bought these for my 3 and 5 year old, and it holds just the right amount of food for them. They love the variety of the five compartments, and I love that they’re actually leak proof so I can send them with lentil stew, yogurt, dumplings with dipping sauce in the middle… and none of it spreads.

This is the only lunchbox I use to send my daughter to school with. I love that it doesn’t skip due to the resistant rubbers on top and bottom of the box. Love the compartments too! And the great customer service is always the cherry on top to be a forever customer!

I bought one of these for each of my 3 kids and just love the product. It’s easy to wash in the dishwasher, keeps soups from spilling with it’s seal, and keeps all compartments separate. My kids actually enjoy seeing what’s inside each day. It reduces my waste of plastic bags and the school helpers don’t throw it away like they did my Tupperware containers. My favorite thing about these though is the customer service. One of my 3 products broke and I called them because I heard that they have a 2 year warranty on their products. They made getting a replacement one an absolute breeze. As a busy working mom, that won my loyalty even more. Just order it, I promise you won’t regret it.
