[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had both over seeded my St Augustine grass in the winter and put down top soil to help it grow. Because of that I couldn't use HALTS to prevent weeds. Sure enough I got clover, dollar weeds, and some other kinds of weeds probably from the top soil. The Turf Builder Bonus S did a great job of cleaning up the clover and the dollar weeds (which can spread like crazy), greened up my lawn, and didn't hurt the St Augustine grass. I put it down before it rained so I know it would be watered in well. I think it is a very good product for the home owner trying to control these types of weeds and fertilize their lawns.

My front and rear lawn are about the same size. I always used Scott's Bonus S and the lawns looked great. Over the winter I had an attack of weeds on both lawns especially the front lawn. I saw a commercial for another brand and thought I would try it on the front and Scott's on the back. As the grass grew, the back lawn looked great, was full and no weeds. The front lawn was terrible, more weeds, grass didn't look good and was thin. I went and purchased a small bag of Scott's Bonus S and just put it down on the front lawn. Inspecting it today, it really looks different. More and more both yards are looking great. Needless to say, I wont buy Bayer's again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bonus S is a great use for my southern grass mixed yard. This has destroyed the clover and dollar weed. I have noticed my st. Augustine starting to spreed faster in the week spots of my yard. Great product and does exactly what is written on the box.

Price keeps going up and effectiveness going down. Have used 3-4 times a year for the past 2 years on my Florida Floritam lawn and never have I had so many weeds. Doesn’t kill any of them. Lived in Florida 35 years and always have taken pride in my lawn. Time to look for a different product!

Within 10 to 15 days the weeds are totally gone, and for at least 60 days the grass looks as green, thick, and healthy, as any other in the neighborhood. This is absolutely the best product for this region in Central Florida, where the temperatures are high, and rain as unpredictable as you can get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Southeast Florida and got the product to try and control the dollar weeds in my lawn. I spread the fertilizer according to the directions. My grass greened up, but it did not stop or kill the dollar weeds.

I have St. Augustine grass, and I noticed a clear difference in the color of the grass. So far, I’m pretty happy with the results as far as grass. It claims to kill weeds too, but I think one treatment is too soon to be effective. But, the grass is noticeably greener and thicker in some areas that were a little on the thin side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can definitely tell the difference between Scotts and the local store brand. The grass is greener and the weeds are fewer. I applied it with my spreader and there weren't any clumps. No foul odor either. I will definitely use again.

I waited until the weather warmed up and the grass was greened up from dormancy like the instructions said. I applied the product and now 2 weeks later the weeds are semi-dead AND SO IS MY GRASS! The grass turned dark green/black and curled up on the ends at first. Now it's dead. I worked 3 years to establish this lawn and now it's for nothing. Very upset.
