After purchasing the Michelin Defender 2 tires for my Lexus ES350, I have decided to get a new set for my RX350 with 245/50R20. The New Defender 2 tires have great handling performance in dry and wet weather conditions, and it also provides very quite and comfortable ride! In addition, it’s great to know that the New Defender tires will last for a very long time. I like the new tires very much and very happy with the choice I made.

I only use Michelin Tires on both of my vehicles, and have for many years, Michelin Defenders in the summer & Michelin X-Ice in the winter. I have always received great service, traction & ride, and highly recommend Michelin Tires to my Family & anyone who has asked.,

Defender 2's have a smooth ride quality that is very noticeable as compared to regular Defenders. Makes my 97 4Runner have a ride it hasn't had using the original Defender. Very pleased with the looks, ride quality, and performance of the tire. Seems the tread design does not make much noise. My only regret after having tires for eleven weeks! Apparently ran over a piece of 1/2" steel that got inserted into the tire tread. Selling dealer, even with a paid protection plan, plug patched tire with only 1345 miles instead of replacing it? Hope the tire is safe with this repair and doesn't start having issues with belts separating and roaring like a snow tire.

The Michelin Defender2 provides a nice quiet ride. They're very responsive yet stable. The 80,000 mile warranty is nice, and did impact my decision, and so far I'm happy with them. Probably the last tires I'll be buying for this vehicle (MB ML350).

Sorry, but the Defender 2 tires have really been a disappointment for me! They are not as quiet as I expected, they are an 80000 mile tire and I'm at 30000 and need tires. The handling has been very good in rain and snow and dry, but now the wear bars are showing and I am concerned they may not be good in rain. I'm very disappointed with this set of tires. Only 2 years old and 30000 miles and need to be replaced. No more Michelin for me!

Have always been a fan of the Michelin tire. Don't know how often your customers get 100,000 miles out of their tires but I am coming up on that magical number. My Honda Accord has 195,000 miles on the odometer and the tires still have 4/32nd left of tread. They were purchased with 99,000 on the odometer, have had 3 low tire pressure warnings but never had one that left me stranded. Will recommend these to my family and friends. These are the best tires I've ever had in my life and it isn't even close! They are 80,000-mile tires and I have 80,000 miles on them. I'll be replacing them with the exact same tire shortly, just waiting for a day off work. I'm really in no hurry, the tires look like I could still squeeze another 5,000 miles out of them. I originally bought them because I was told they are very smooth and quiet, the complete opposite of the stock tires on my Rav4. They were correct, these tires make my SUV drive like a luxury sedan. I'm a frugal guy and these tires are well worth the investment.

I purchased Defender 2 tires in April 2024 and had my Michelin X-Ice removed from vehicle for the summer months. When I picked up my vehicle from the garage I immediately noticed the ride with my New Defender tires was not as smooth and I had more road noise than with the X-Ice tires. I was surprised by this as I expected the opposite . Aside from the above observations I will say the Defender tires are very responsive to handling & braking

I’ve used Michelin tires for many years and never had a problem. I have a vibration problem with my Kia (1007 Sportage) and every thing, and I mean everything, has been checked and the last resort was to put 4 new tires on. I put on the same tire that were on the car, Michelins of course. The current tires were near aging out even though they were only about half worn out. So new tires—but the same vibration. Now what do I do. The car has been gone over twice by two different tech, both fully certified and both are stumped. Now what. The tires are great though.

These tires are like driving on clouds - everything is smooth, the tires absorb bumps and road imperfections easily, and I can tell they "have the road". In short, I feel very safe with these tires, which is important since my commute to work is 250 miles twice a month. I originally purchased CrossClimate 2 as replacement tires for my 2020 XT5 Sport but was not satisfied with them (wrote a review). I took the car back to my retailer and they swapped them for a new set of Defender 2 no questions asked. Michelin stands by their product and I've had exceptional customer service from both the retailer and Michelin in this process. The commitment to their product and exemplary service is why I will stay a Michelin customer.
