Over the last semester I used this thing everyday for lunch. While it takes a bit longer in my opinion compared to microwave rice, it makes great rice that I prefer over microwave rice. I love this thing and use it all the time!

Best when starting with 3/4 c of rinsed, wet jasmine rice plus 3/4 cup and 2 Tablespoons of cold water. And unplug cooker and allow steam to escape briefly (and leave the lid open a bit, not completely closed).

The mini rice cooker is so easy to use and cooks rice in a fraction of the time. Its great when youve worked a long shift but want to make something with minimal effort. And the warm feature is a plus, it keeps the food hot without drying it out.

I needed a lighter weight appliance for smaller serving sizes. It meets my needs. My 3 quart instant pot is not meeting my needs.The cook book needs a review and corrections!
