I have used this a number of times and never had the basmati rice come out the way it does when I cook it on the stove.  I've tried using less liquid but it still came out sticky.  When I tried using home made chicken stock the seasoning went to the bottom of the pot and stuck to the pot along with a sizable portion of the rice which burned slightly.

I haven't been able to use this product because it starts smoking when I plug it in and turn it on. Seems dangerous!

Perfect for a student or anyone living alone or wants to make small servings. It has a cook option and a keep warm option so it's very simple.

Cute and mighty little rice cooker

Followed the instructions to the letter and rice still burned. Tried again and rice was mushy and nothing like advertised. It's too much of a pain to return it, so I'm just going to try some of the other recipes that came with it. Size is small so not hard to store and doesn't take too much space. Easy to clean. The lid doesn't fit securely and this doesn't have an auto shut off. Overall not impressed.

You get what you pay for. Cheap & doesn't work.

I have conflicted feelings on this one. It works great so I didn't return it. Yes, you add max one "cup" of rice and roughly one "cup" of water, but you must get used to the size of the cup you are given. The included cup is slightly smaller than the true measurement of a "Cup". The amount of water needed is also less than I am used to so I must reference the paper cooking guide that's included. It would have been nice is the guide was printed on the side of the cooker. All in all, I use it nearly daily and the one cup of rice is still very filling even for a bigger guy like me.
