Worse tires imaginable

These tires are the exact opposite of how they are advertised. My SUV went from having the quietest, smoothest ride of any vehicle I've ever owned to riding like a jalopy. Instantly I noticed the sound of the tires in the parking lot. So loud! Then the tires emphasized every little bump, literally bouncing me around in my seat.

Love, love, LOVE

I put these tires on an Infiniti. They ride so much better and are so quiet, I cannot believe it! I've put about 5000 miles on them, no issues. They handle the rain at speed with out blinking. Responsive around corners and curves. They are so much better than the OEM Michelins they replaced.

Proof that you can be too good at your job

While it may sound like I am talking out of both sides of my mouth, what I love about these tires is also what I hate about them. They deaden everything. On a nice sunny day drive this is perfect. In heavy rain, not being able to feel the road is a major downside to me. I previously had the Comfortred touring and these are supposed to have replaced them as an "upgrade" I can tell you that the Comfortred touring was 100% the superior tire. These are very good tires and I have never lost traction even in the heaviest rain. Zero hydroplaning incidents. Just not being able to feel the road during a gully washer is a major negative to me. Not sad that I bought them, but also wouldn't recommend or buy them again either.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST

The Goodyear Assurance Comfortdrive tire is absolutely the best tire for quetness, smooth driving, and stability. IASs a former Nissan and Volkswagen dealer, I have a lot of experience with a variety of tires. From the moment you first drive with this set of tires you notice the low level of tire noise that is produced. I would estimate that it is 50% quieter than the Michelin tires I had. You also notice that the tires run very smooth down the road. There's a feeling of stability, especially at highway speeds. I realixe that in reading these consumer ratings there are some who are critical, however I believe that my objective evaluation here clearly points to these tires being superior in low noise, smooth operation, and stabilty.

Best feeling for a car owner!

Now your gonna have good reviews and bad reviews, this one is good. Every car is different every one drives different. I can say that 2 vehicles of mine and suv and car once the original tires went I bought these tires. With out a doubt I noticed a difference in how much quieter the cabin sounded on the road how much less I felt and heard those lines that you can drop a beat to on the highways. They sliced through rain grabbed the road when I turned and stuck when I take off. So far it's my go to tire I personally recommend these. For anyone who hates noisy driving and constant road vibration and wants a good grip with good life. These I'd suggest. Also didn't have a problem driving through snow!

Assurance comfort touring vs assurance comfort drive

Have had assurance touring model on 3 cars and tires were great. Easily get 80 k Had a screw in my 2015 Lexus ES 350 and had to place one comfort drive on with the other three comfort touring. Supposedly the comfort drive was the exact replacement for the discontinued comfort touring . Have about 78000 miles on the comfort touring and about 55000 on the comfort drive. Here's the kicker , the comfort touring with the 78000 miles has much more tread left than the 55000 mile comfort drive. Tires were religiously rotated regularly. Would love to get the assurance comfort touring but I guess Goodyear realized it was too good and gave us consumers way more miles than they figured on . At least that's my 2 cents

Very Noisy and Rough

I have had these tires for about 25K. They are very noisy and give a rough rise. On the positive side they appear to be able to give me the 60K wear mileage. I will not get them again

Second best to Michelin Touring tires

purchased these Goodyear comfort drive all season tires in 2019 in lieu of the Michelin touring tire that came on my 2011 Honda Crosstour, like the Goodyear comfort tire so much that I replaced them with a second set in Nov 2024.

AWESOME!

After an extensive on-line search for new tires, I decided to purchase a set of 4 of these tires for my vehicle. So far, they are Smooth, Quiet, Comfortable and Responsive.
