I Bought this for my 2020 KW T680 semi truck and keep it in between the seats Works great and holds a whole weeks worth of Food so far so good I found that if i removed the large basket i could fit 12 precooked meals in stackable tubs and still have room on top for creamer and anything else that I might want to carry

Adjustable digital readout temperature control for cooling or freezing. I had ordered one from an online company that guaranteed delivery in 2 days. After 2 weeks I was finally able to cancel the order of the PLASTIC cooler. I studied the different online offers and finally decided on the metal exterior cooler from Sam's. I decided because of Sam's backing of everything they sell. I am a retired full time RVer and this is handy for transporting frozen and refrigerated food for long periods of time while traveling to and from sight seeing spots back to my RV. Uses very little power, with dual power built in (120 Volt AC or 12 Volt DC) with compressor and is excellent for use with solar power. The dual voltage is all internally regulated, 120 VAC cord plugs into unit with regular 3 prong cord that fits your home computer, so if it is misplaced in can be replaced very easily replaced. Also plugs into vehicle Power Port/cigarette lighter. I have owned this for 2 months with no regrets. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's a good backup unit for home use. I will check actual 12 VDC Power draw on battery and finish review if Sam's will let me edit this

Cools fast in both ac and DC. Doesn't seem to be an energy hog. Haven't used it under real camping conditions yet.

Brought this out on a 5 day event. It was secured tight, but still got bumped around a fair bit. Did stop once. Easily held over 20+ lbs of meat. They were frozen proper all the way home. Works well on both AC and DC. Even tried it direct with a solar panel and it worked like a charm. Slick camo design. Liking this quite a bit.

I've been using this in my camper van for about a year now, bought it and never looked back, it's a really great product. I had a problem with the 12 copy cord, they sent me a new one, no questions asked, now how is that for awesome service! The only thing I wish I had was one of those insulating bags, I can't seem to find them or see if they even make them, but that's an aside, I love my Whynter!

This freezer is great but keep your eye on the display showing that the freezer is on because the cord connection, on the end where it attaches to the freezer, easily comes loose. Could just be the cord I received with the unit is defective.
