This cookware is lightweight and nonstick. Everything I've cooked uses this cookware set has come out great. Nothing sticks and unlike all the other non-stick cookware I've used, this will actually brown whatever you are cooking if you need it to. Eggs slide right out of the pan. I cooked potatoes and onions in it and they normally stick to the pan, but not in this! The lids are a little heavy, but otherwise I'm very pleased with this cookware.

Bought these for my Son for Christmas. He hung a pot rack I got him then hiss pans. He loves them!

We bought two sets of these about a month ago for gifts and the people just loved them. I haven't used them myself but going on their reviews, these are a great buy.

In the About this item it says " Safe to use with metal utensils " but when you get the product it says not to use metal utensils. Because of the description I lowered the stars. I like the product so far. We are very cautious on how we cook. We are making sure we have coated utensils and let the pan cool way down before cleaning. So far cleans easy and food does not stick. Went out and purchased felt spacers to insure we don't scratch it as we stack it in the cabinet. As time goes on we will see how the surface holds up.

I fried an egg with nothing added to the pan and it slid right out. I made brown rice but it took longer to cook because they don't want you to use high heat. I used a wooden spoon to stir rice while cooking and to remove rice from pan and it left rub-like lines in the pan which I noticed after hand washing. I wasn't scraping with the spoon; just combining the rice and removing it from the pan. Don't know why this is. This is all I have cooked in them so far. I don't like the fact that I have to cook on a lower setting so things take longer. When making rice or pasta you have to boil the water first and continue cooking at a fairly high temperature. I've only used twice so I'll have to see. At this point I don't know how durable they will be.

I bought these to replace my old set. It’s kind of a trick to get use to using what look like sauté pans to replace saucepans. My friends definitely didn’t know what to make of them when helping in my kitchen. They work but just odd

Ballarini has different quality offerings. This set is their low-end stuff. These are thin and can easily be bent by squeezing the sides. I have their high-end offering and it's excellent. Bottom line is that Ballarini can be Excellent or Junk. Your best indicator to differentiate between the two is; Thier top quality pans are thicker and will have the granite coating on the lip or edge of the pots and pans where the low in thin cheap stuff doesn't. This set as you can see has no coating on the lip. You see the bare aluminum. If you see bare aluminum then it's the cheap thin stuff.

We had to return the item. The Dutch oven was completely misshapen when received, so much the lid was nowhere close to fitting, and pans were easily malleable. I understand aluminum cookware, I have several, but the quality was poor. I'm very disappointed in this set. I'm sure the Ballarini sets that are significantly more costly are fine, this just completely missed the mark.
