Looks good, lacks quality

Bought this chair because I loved the look of it. Looked great for a couple months then the fabric started pulling, no big deal didn't expect a lot due to price. Fast forward 3 months into having the chair it breaks completely. I returned the chair no issues but really think before buying.

Love this chair!

This chair is amazing for the cost. Looks great. It's elegant looking but comfortable at the same time. The back of the chair feels like a comfortable pillow. It leans back far enough to where you could fall asleep. I'm 6'2 210 pounds. Definitely a great buy. I will say they label the chair legs wrong. Just look at the pictures to match up proper leg position.

It needs to have the back facing a wall

This chair is a lot less "sleek" than I wish for it to be for a "mid-century" look. It is also a lot taller than I had visualized. The seat is so high off the ground that my feet dangle. I am 5'3" and I would bet that my feet are a good 4" - 6" off the ground when sit. This makes it really hard to use as a conversation chair when it is not reclined. I am barely able to touch the floor when I put a big pillow or 2 behind my back so I am pushed forward to the front edge of the seat . The velcro back is not very attractive, and unfortunately I am using these chairs between 2 rooms with the back facing out so the back is always visible. This means they look cheap from the angle that they are most often viewed from. The fabric is nice and soft, the chair is comfortable, and it reclines and stays reclined well. I would highly recommend this recliner if you plan to put it into a corner or in a room where the front of the chair faces out. If you are doing as I am and placing the chair in a room where the back faces out, I would reconsider. I am trying to decide now whether to return this item. The price and quality are good but I am not sure if they are attractive enough for the sleek mid-century room I have.

stlmartin, thank you for sharing your detailed review of the Chicago Mid-Century Pushback Recliner. We're sorry to hear that the chair's height and back design don't meet your expectations for a mid-century look and feel. Your feedback on the velcro back and overall dimensions is very valuable, and we'll consider these points for future improvements. If you need assistance with your return decision, please contact our customer service team at 1-888-406-0838. - The Abbyson Team

Just OK

The right rear leg screws broke causing the leg to separate from the mounting plate. I made a temporary repair and will be contacting the manufacturer for a replacement.
