Tostitos Con Queso is hands down one of the best snack dips out there. The taste is rich, creamy, and perfectly cheesy with just the right kick of spice—enough to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming them. It pairs beautifully with tortilla chips, but it’s also amazing drizzled over nachos, tacos, or even baked potatoes. What really stands out is the value. One jar goes a long way, especially when warmed up and stirred—just a few spoonfuls can elevate an entire snack or meal. It tastes just like something you’d get at a restaurant, but at a fraction of the price. Plus, it’s shelf-stable until opened, so it’s easy to keep on hand for last-minute get-togethers or solo snack nights. If you love bold, cheesy flavor and want something that delivers both taste and bang for your buck, Tostitos Con Queso is a must-have!

I must say this is a great value compared to the Amazon equivalent. The cheese melts great with only about a 30sec tour in the microwave. Refrigerate after opening and it will last a while. A word of caution: The shipping is less than desirable. I ordered 8 jars of these and I received my order in a plastic trash bag. It seems that Walmart decided to put a loose jars without much wrapping into a "too large" shipping box. Needless to say 4 of the jars broke open and I was left with one big mess and smell. After washing I managed to have half of my order intact. Can't blame Tostitos for poor shipping and handling and this is a great queso.

We like it for flavor and usually the thick consistency and volume per jar (no shrinkflation so far). Docked one star because we received one that was thinner in consistency than the usual. The taste was about the same, but it was as if watered down. We put out a different dip... bleu cheese, after guests griped about it. There's a second jar in the refrigerator that one of us will do a test taste of before the next get-together.

I've been eating this salsa con queso for years. It's still my favorite of all the brands I've tried. I have some in the cabinet right now. Not too spicy so I add some red salsa to it now and then when I want a little more heat but usually, it's fine the way it is from the jar. If I could remember to buy chips each time, I'd eat it more often.
