I've been eating this salsa con queso for years. It's still my favorite of all the brands I've tried. I have some in the cabinet right now. Not too spicy so I add some red salsa to it now and then when I want a little more heat but usually, it's fine the way it is from the jar. If I could remember to buy chips each time, I'd eat it more often.

I’m used to medium spicy being spicy mid way from mild to hot spicy that gets your nasal running. My preference is true Medium spicy to Hot spicy. It seems to me that many manufacturers use “Medium “ to denote that it’s not without spicy heat. THAT’S NOT MEDIUM SPICY! It’s mildly spicy! It has some heat but, not medium heat. Maybe it’s actually people that don’t know the difference between “mildly spicy” (which will have mild spicy heat) and “mild” (which will have no spicy heat at all). Maybe people think mildly spicy means MILD! Either way, I call it the way I see it, it’s mildly spicy (has mild heat). This is mildly spicy, not medium spicy, it does have mildly spicy heat that won’t burn your palate at all. So, for my tastes, I must Jack up the heat to MEDIUM spicy by adding heat.
