I am thoroughly impressed with this air conditioner. I sleep near it and it's the quietest I have found to date. Customer service is great and Maggie was very helpful with replacing a noisy machine. The 6k keeps my smaller room evenly cooled and the top vent is great as it no longer blows on me when I am sleeping. 5+

Replaced our homes window air conditioners with 2 small and 1 medium Windmill units. It was super simple to install these units. The quality pair of scissors included with each unit was a nice bonus for cutting the foam to size. Have already noticed that the Windmill units run a lot less often and keep our home a lot more comfortable. So happy to have found these.

We were searching for some new window ac units that were quiet, small enough to fit our new windows and attractive. While doing a lot of research, I saw windmill mentioned in several reviews online from reputable sources and so decided to look into them. I was having a lot of trouble finding nice looking 10K btu units that would fit our windows (in fact, I had to give away our only 2yo LG unit bc it didn’t fit the windows in our new apt) and was very pleasantly surprised that the 10j Windmill was small enough to fit! We decided to go with 2 smaller 6k btu units first in our smaller rooms to test out and were thrilled. They looked so much nicer than normal AC, we’re quiet and can be controlled on our phones. We then took the plunge with a 10k unit and couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s so quiet and our apt finally feels like it has central AC! Would 10/10 recommend.

This company is the BEST! We now have 3 Windmill A/C Units and are so completely satisfied with them as well as their customer service. Since I have owned these units I have only called on Customer Service twice. One time after my first purchase I could not figure out how to reset the system after cleaning and replacing the filter. I actually used the chat and totally didn't realize it was a Sunday. I rec'd a reply that someone would get back to me in 24 hours. Fair enough but to my surprise the chat box popped up and it was the owner answering me on a Sunday! I was totally amazed and very thankful. Second contact I made was last week asking if I could purchase a replacement remote since my Pup had chewed one of them. I was willing to pay for the replacement and they said no we are happy to send out a courtesy one to you. You will not find another company around that would have done this. I am so happy that I fell upon this company when I was researching new window air conditioners. 100% Satisified Customer. Thank you Windmill!

Love it for the most part besides a few hiccups that I’ll have to get use to. When you set a certain temperature it goes past it by more than I’d like. Also no matter what I do the automation never goes on what is scheduled. Besides that I love the look and I feel I can breathe better and don’t wake up congested compared to my old one.

This is by far the quietest air conditioner I've ever owned. And it's very efficient. The house is very cool without all the noise. It looks beautiful and was very easy for the Task Rabbit installer to put in. I plan to upgrade both air conditioners for the bedrooms next year.

I am so impressed with this air conditioner! My son needed something small and easy to install in his bedroom window and something attractive looking! It was not only easy to install, it is easy to use and quiet,,,,huge plus! His room is now nice and cool!

My Windmill Air Whisper Quiet AC was performing beautifully but developed a problem. When I reached out to the company I experienced what might be the best customer service I’ve ever had. After troubleshooting the issue with me, and with consistent and engaged communications, the representative decided that the results warranted a new unit. It arrived almost immediately, at no charge to me. And the replacement unit is performing at its peak! I categorically recommend the product and the company. It’s refreshing to be treated so well, and refreshing that a product lives up to its hype. Buy from Windmill, you wont regret it.

I found this brand looking on a Home Depot site, but since it was a brand I was not familiar with I decided to do some more research, came upon their website and decided to order direct. The only issue I had was the bottom of the box separated from the top of the box during shipping and carrying it up the stairs it slipped and I was worried we damaged it. Thankfully it was not damaged. Install was super easy. I work from home on Zoom all day in the room it is in and my #1 requirement was that it was quiet. It is very quiet, especially on Eco. It also works really well keeping my space actually a little cooler than I need. Sometimes on Auto it does not shut off when it reaches temp which is a bit challenging, but I would rather have it cool too much than not enough, so all good.

I like the product, but would like to recommend packaging changes. It would be great to find an alternative for the styrofoam padding as it is virtually unrecyclable. The desiccant packages are also synthetic - would be nice to see a natural material used as a substitute. I like how some (but not all) bags were LDPE (#4 plastic). Would love to see 100% LDPE and labeled as such to help boost the likelihood of recycling or move to using paper envelopes instead. Thank you!
