Refrigerator was delivered about 3 weeks ago. Was surprised when the ice maker dumped its first tray of ice after only a few hours of being plugged in. It runs quiet though the ice maker is a little loud when ice is harvested. The controls are easily accessible and located outside the refrigerated compartment along the top of the cabinet. Seems to maintain temperature well enough and I think the air distribution directed down over the door is very effective at keeping things like milk in the door shelves cold. If the labeling is accurate it uses very little power at 2.6 amps compared to my old refrigerator which was rated at 9 amps. The shelving is adequate although the incredibly small shelf at the bottom of the refrigerator door is pretty much useless, or I just haven't found a use for it yet. The LED lighting is great and there are no bulbs that will need to be replaced. The door is easily reversible if needed and a kit for doing so was included. Overall, so far, I am happy with the purchase of this refrigerator.

Love this so much I bought two. A year before moving I bought this refrig. When I bought my new house, I hated the refrig that came with the house. It was lovely to look at but was poor design and noisy as a model airplane. Within 5 months I bought another LG and have function, good looks, and quiet.

I purchased this fridge expecting function and some luxuries(ice maker). I tried using this fridge- it is not user friendly. The shelves are only have minor adjustability, not really functioning- milk and ice tea do not fit within the shelf settings. The freezer drawer and ice maker are great. This fridge isn’t family friendly- do yourself a favor and pay $200 more for adjustable shelves- I just can’t live with This basic model and returned it for upgrade.

It's so easy to see what food you have on hand and nothing gets pushed back to that bottom shelf and forgotten until green and moldy. It's very bright inside and looks so clean and fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first LG appliance I have owned. I am extremely happy with the roomy compartments in both the refrigerator and freezer part. I also love the alarm that lets you know it is not completely closed. Another feature I like is the size and shape of the ice cubes. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

I really liked the quality and style of the LG refrigerator. The only problem was when the compressor stopped working. However I found that the LG compressors have a 10 year warranty in which my compressor was replaced promptly, with excellent customer service.

I like the flip up shelf on the door that allows me to store a taller bottle of wine without having to adjust the shelves. However, the handle on the refrigerator door gets loose easily and I have to tighten it. So I wish the handles are more sturdier.

Plus no more leaving the door open, it signals us when the door has been open for too long. Then the space is outstanding, we were able to prep for thanksgiving without worrying about where to put items over night, It all fit!!

Had this LG since August, and it holds SO MUCH more than my previous fridge. AND everything is cold and holding so, and fresh for so much longer than before. Plenty of room, plenty of light, easy to see what's there, and a freezer section that is almost big enough for me. No more squishy ice cream now! What a difference , and what an upgrade!
