Not for high traffic area

Looks nice, but is very difficult to clean. In fact I haven’t figured out how to clean it. You cannot wet it because it soaks up the water and takes too long to dry. It stains easily. In a high traffic area like the kitchen it is a very bad choice.

Twisted my ankle repeatedly

I bought 2 of these in July. They feel great when you are standing in the center of the mat, but when you step off to the side, as I do when cooking, the uneven edge causes me to twist my ankle. I tried to avoid the edge, but when I'm standing at the stove or sink, I'm not looking down, so after repeatedly twisting my ankle, I'm thowing them out. Also a little water from a spill went under the edge and caused the black backing to stick to my tile and come off the mat.

Elegant comfort

I gave these mats five stars for several reasons — the excellent price, comfort, and lightning-fast delivery. I wasn't sure I'd like the color at first, but once it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The design isn't busy; it's simple, modest, and elegantly understated, which makes it even more appealing.

Espresso color is NOT as shown, it's RUST

I ordered the Espresso Scroll. It's shown in the photos as a dark brown with scroll. As soon as i opened the package I could see it wasn't what I ordered. Instead of a dark espresso color, it's an ugly rust!! Unfortunately, I have to schlep this back to Sam's for a refund. The reason why I had it delivered with my order is because it's heavy and difficult to lift. I won't be ordering this one online again

photos do not match received mat

I tried to get a matching small and large mat for my kitchen based on the photos available and they've sent me the wrong small mat three times now. The screenshot is the mat I tried to get and the photo is the mat I received multiple times. Even after completely returning the order and starting over. Now I can't even return the large mat so I'm stuck with two mismatched mats which was what I was trying to replace to begin with.

Wrong Mat - Disappointed with telephone service

I have ordered this mat twice in gray. I have the same mat in a different size & wanted this to match. Unfortunately - each time I was sent a brown/tan mat. The first time, I first checked that I had ordered the correct color (which I had) so I assumed that the person pulling the order had made a mistake. The second time, having received the same mat, I asked the person at the help desk at my local Sam's club to check why I was being sent the wrong mat. She was extremely helpful & finally said that the number that I had ordered has the tan mat (not the gray mat) listed. She gave me the toll free number to talk with a Sam's club representative to see how/if I could order the gray mat. Today I called the number. It was a very long wait time. I had to explain the situation several times. I was on the line with the initial representative for a long time as she would put me on hold to double check things. Finally she said that she saw the problem but it wasn't something that she could fix. She again put me on hold to speak with her supervisor. I had to again explain the situation to the supervisor who suggested that I order it again & see if I got the right mat. She disagreed with the others who said that the wrong number was associated with the product on line. She said that there was nothing more that could be done; that it could not be guaranteed that I would receive the item that I had ordered & there was nothing to be done to rectivy if. I asked to speak to somebody who could help me rectify the situation & was told that the person who I was speaking to was the "end of the line." On a positive note - return was simple at the store except for the long wait at the service desk both times that I had to return.
