for me this was well worth the money. I had sis peel potatoes and apples at the same time I used this machine, there was hardly any difference in time. my problem was in using my hands to peel with and this has helped tremendously. it is another machine to get out to use, but the peels are one long peel and easily disposed of.

So far, so good. I still have to peel the ends but, it sure beats peeling the entire thing. I have used it on potatoes and apples, so far. Because I have this peeler now, I will be making more mashed potatoes and apple pies. Great for the price.

I bought the manual one about 23 years ago and loved it. However after a couple of years the blade started coming loose while peeling, bought new blades and holder. Same thing after a few months. A few years later I saw the electric one and bought it. Again I was very pleased but after A year or so the same thing. I really like this product but I think it needs a better way to secure the blade unit to the arm.

I have to admit I had no expectations but given how much work we put into peeling vegetables, I thought it might be worth a try. The minute we got it, we decided to give it a try and it made short work of the potatoes. Ours came with extra blades and an AC adapter, I’m surprised that it also takes batteries. It is a great little tool, I’m happy we gave it a try. Shipping through Sam’s Club was pretty quick, too.

I purchased 4 of the Starfrit Rotato Expresses on Black Friday as gifts and one for me. It seemed to be a good deal. I've used mine several times. Last night while I was demonstrating it to some friends the entire Blade Holder-Lock in Attachment fill apart. It is broken. It appears to be the weakest link in the system. The Lock in Attachment should be made more durable or out of another material. It is not strong enough and will continue to break sooner than later as time goes by. I will call customer service tomorrow to try and resolve the issue.

I received the electric peeler just in time for Thanksgiving. I installed batteries and never had to use the electric cord, included. I used it to peel 20 pounds of potatoes and it worked better than expected. I have already recommended it to others. I absolutely love this peeler.

I was very excited to find this item so that we could stop borrowing an older version from my mother-in-law and use our own. The problem was that we got all ready to can our pears, and the Rotato Express wouldn't start. My husband found that one wire was not soldered to anything (it looked like someone tried to solder it but missed the mark). Thankfully he knew how to fix it, but this was a huge oversight by Starfrit's quality control department. Now that we got the Rotato Express working, it seems to do a pretty good job (though it does remove more pear with the peeling than the older Dazee Stripper did). I just hope we don't find any more issues...

I have had this product for about two years and it has withstood holiday gatherings and a yearly usage. Even if it were to break now I would run out and buy another one. I have saved a lot of hand peeling time over the sink with a knife peeling potatoes apples zucchinis anything that you would need to peel. I would 100% recommend it to anybody. I don't know how I lived so many years without it.

this is an awesome machine. I have used it a lot to peel potatoes. Next on my list is an eggplant. It does not peel the top or bottom of potato or if the potato has a dent in it, it will skip over that part. It is a lot easier on the hands using this machine instead of peeling them yourself. Would highly recommend this product. What a great gadget.

This is my new favorite kitchen appliance!! Always used the hand-crank apple peeler/corer - which slices and cores apples. This just peels. But still - super fast peeling. With Thanksgiving coming up and vast amounts of peeling with potatoes and sweet potatoes, I highly recommend this device.
