The blade skips a bit, partially due to the shape of the Apple. Once it has a groove it works well. It is noisy.

The potato peeler is the best thing I've bought. You still have to cut the ends and bad spots off. But, it's worth the purchase.

This items absolutely does not work. It is faster and easier to just peel it then to try and figure this thing out. Not worth the time nor the money.
