Feast from the East sesame dressing is delicious! It sweet and tangy but definitely hits the savory notes. It reminds me of the Chinese chicken salad dressing at Sweet Tomato/Soup Plantation. Unfortunately they're not around anymore but you can recreate that taste with Feast from the East. I noticed in the ingredients that they use soybean/canola oil in the dressing which is polyunsaturated and not so good for me so I'll have to limit my intake. I really hope Feast from the East comes out with the same dressing made with olive or avocado oil; I'd buy it by the carton!

I really liked the small of the dressing when I first opened the bottle. It had that sesame smell that is so appetizing when you eat out at Asian restaurants. The sesame flavor however, was very lite. It was hardly noticable. The texture of this dressing is extremely oily. I did not like it at all, it was way too oily. Then allowed the oil to settle and separate from the dressing as recommended on the bottle, I poured off more than the recommended 2 tablespoons, shook the bottle quite aggressively, and tried it again. This was a little better. I didn't taste more of the sesame seasoning. I disposed of the extra oil, and it is for this reason I would not recommend or but this product again. I purchased a bottle of Feast From The East Sesame Dressing for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It had a kick to it that gave my salad a great taste. It definitely needs to be shook up well like the directions on the bottle states. I'm anxious to try this in different types of dishes. I would recommend giving it a try. Feast From The East Original Sesame Dressing is a seemingly light dressing. In the bottle it looks to be a light vinegar dressing. The price isn't bad for the quantity, and although I do usually like sesame dressings, this one I did not enjoy. It tasted really oily and felt slimy in my mouth. Just used this dressing to make my cucumber salad. I use to make my own but using this dressing is simple and taste great. The flavor is not to over powering and goes great with any kind of Asian salads. I would definitely use this with a different type of salad or even use this as a marinade for grilled chicken.
