Service personnel told my wife that ALL 20 lug-nuts were stripped and had to be replaced at $2.00 each!! I had taken the drivers side nuts off 2 weeks earlier and put them back on by hand, re-torquing them to factory spec. I have been a professional mechanic for over 50 years, and have NEVER had ALL OF THE LUG-NUTS, be stripped. There are better odds of winning the PowerBall lottery than this happening. Obviously the service people were conning my wife. Luckily I had my wife ask for the original lug-nuts, which I re-installed to factory spec by hand with NO ISSUES. To me this type of Actions border on criminal, luckily the Service Manager did refund our money, but we still SHOULD NOT have been put through this type of treatment!!!!!!!!

ST is the prefix for trailer tires. It’s misleading in the name of standard car tires

Terrible. Showed up first time with an appointment. Told me I had to reschedule. Called manager and put me on hold for more tan 10 minutes and I hung up. Showed up next time, broke my center cap during install. Cost me $30. While driving home had a vibration. Scheduled appointment for rebalance of tire. Showed up 3 minutes before opening with an appointment , super rude. Told me they won’t be open till 8 am. I went and paid another tire company to rebalance. Never return for tires. Terrible. It’s apparent there help don’t care and are short staff. Terrible

I had a bad experience throughout this purchase. First, the web site specified the wrong size tires for my vehicle. Then, when I arrived for a confirmed appointment I was delayed due to the class of my membership. Then, I was told that I had to upgrade my membership in order to be served. Then, after I finally got my car inside and on the service rack I was informed that the web site had specified the wrong tires for my vehicle. I was then offered to upgrade my purchase to the only tires in inventory and that I would be eligible for a rebate. After installation I was overcharged for my purchase after the staff added an extended warranty which I declined during the initial purchase. Overall I was charged over $200 more than I had agreed to during the ordering process. I am very disappointed with this service and will not deal with Sam's Club Tire Dept. again in the future! I expressed my complaint during a live chat and was promised a follow-up which I never received.
