Great for the birds

i thought the birds were loving this because they were going through it so quickly. after closer inspection, i saw most was on the ground. this bird seed is mostly Milo which i’ve read is not appealing to most birds & used as a cheap bulk filler in many bird seeds. over half the bag winds up on the ground untouched by the many birds which come our feeders. i will look for an alternative seed.

We have been using this mix for years and purchase it often using about a gallon of seed a day. The last batch purchased was nasty. The seed looked over processed, very dark and dry. The sunflowers seeds extremely small and had a grey coating, the normal "Cherry" scent was missing and the mix contained small rocks and plant debris. Check your bag througrouly.

Cheap bird food that our birds hate.

Birds seem to like it, but needs more sunflower seeds, which they prefer. Too much :junk seed.
