Although I prefer local craft beer, this one is great with Mexican food. I like it with a squeeze of lime. I don't buy this for home, but I will drink it at restaurants. A good option when you're out.

Great beer after a long day or just enjoying the day off. The darker color makes you think it would be strong a bitter but it actually the opposite. Its not too hoppy or bitter but has just enough to give a perfect balance of flavor and taste.

This beer by far is the best in its kind for being dark lager. It's smooth, rich and very tasteful. No after taste, and it's body is maintained throughout the whole beer. This is a must in my household.

Tastes better south of the equator but when you live in a western Kentucky hicktown, the beer options aren't wide range if you want something good tasting.

I like my Modelo Negra between 32 and 34 degrees in a frosted mug, while telling stories with my friend Domingo Figuroa. Word of mouth is how I found this beer.

What can I say? I like mixing a Modelo Negra Mexican Import Beer with vegetable or tomato juice and various garnishes. Not feeling the juice? It's grey by itself and isn't very heavy where you'll feel bloated after having a few.

Really good lark lager, its smooth but not as viscose as a stout. Filtered, which I prefer, definitely my preference over regular modelo or over dos equis amber

Yummy! My favorite larger. It's full bodied and flavorful. If I'm going to drink a beer (and that's not a hard thing to get me to do) this would be my first option. It beats a lot of overpriced IPAs I've tried in the past.

What are the best dark beers I've had in a long time. I usually drink it with a lime wedge because that's how I always have it at the Mexican restaurant.
