My daughter uses them to draw and has no issue with them running or smudging. I received a free sample though Smiley 360, but will be buying more as my daughter loves them.

I especially like to supplement colored pencils when coloring in adult coloring books. I also use gel pens a lot in art journals. They don't bleed through or smear.

The comfort grip is great especially for coloring so your fingers dont hurt. The quick dry ink is good so no ink gets on your hand when you go over it. Overall, great pens from Bic. At first they seemed to skip a little when writing but after a few minutes sthe ink was flowing nicely. I've been using these pens daily for several weeks and they are great. They are all bright and the ink flows nicely. I have gotten a bit of smudging with the purple but nothing majory or super messy and after a few minutes it doesn't smudge when rubbed. I would reccomend these pens to anyone who loves to write, loves bright colors and wel...gel pens!
