So I was excited to try Bic's new Quick dry Gelocity pens. They did not disappoint. They have a cushion grip, which definitely comes in handy when writing long papers. They have very bright and vivid colors and most importantly they really don't smear..

I was able to run a highlighter over it almost immediately without it smearing the ink. These pens will be a permanent staple to my lineup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical call upon receiving the BIC Gelocity pens. I have tried many gel pens in the past, and I have not liked any that I've tried. My daughter kept asking me to purchase gel pens, but I would refuse as they never lasted long and they never wrote very nicely. Then I received the sample of the three Gelocity pens from BIC and my open yen has forever been changed. The writing is so smooth and vibrant and beautiful the comfort grip makes writing enjoyable. And the pen doesn't smear the ink the way other gel pens I have used in the past have done. I have no idea why it took me so long to find these pens. All I know is that I stocked up during our back to school shopping. I'm pretty sure I bought the store out! Ha ha!

That they are good for drawing and writing and how much I loved using them. A few of my friend's got to try out the pens as well while at my house and said they will be buying them! They are also nice when just writing notes. The ink did still smear a little when used on paper with a film on it, but great on flat paper!
