NOISY!! So much want to trash these tires!

I bought these because of the Consumer Reports ratings and I am very disappointed. The road noise regardless of speeds is unbearable. The road noise is comparable to that of driving with mud tires, Which if I were driving with mud tires I would expect the noise but not on car road tires.

Noisiest tires Ever

Bought these tires for 2013 Prius. Get more rain than snow now in the northeast so thought I would give them a try. Worse decision ever. Now I have been buying Michelin tires for a long time, but these are so noisy. I thought I had a muffler problem then realized it was the tires. Sounds like I'm riding in a tank. As far a driving preferred the pilot sport. Would not recommend for a Prius.

Horrible Tire, unless you like a big loss of Fuel Economy

These Tires are being pushed as Wonderful, and were hyped by the Dealer, and were in Short Supply. Got a set, had them Mounted. Car previously had Michelin Premier LTXs, and had about 75,000km on them, and were down to 4.5/16 in, and Winter was upon us. The Old Tires, while they would spin when in 2wd, did surprisingly well in awd. In fact, I didn't notice any difference between them and the CC2s in AWD, 2WD was better with the CC2s. What I didn't like was that the Fuel Economy went in the Toilet. The Old Tires were giving me, on average 9.6liters/100km, the CC2s average at best 11.8liters/100km, that is about a 20% less fuel Economy. In city driving, that number shoots up to 14liters/100km. After 6 months of these Gas Guzzlers, and a Nail in the Sidewall, I am replacing them with Michelin Defender2s

VERY NOISY TIRES!

Set of 4 tires purchased and installed at designated location. These tires are noisy and becomes nosier as the speed increased. Michelin had me to go to designated tire installer for Michelin's brand. It was cited, there was a ball bearing problem or axle problem. The noise is inside the car cabin, no outside noise, shaking of wheel, etc. per the diagnostic today. The noise becomes louder as speed increase. The vehicle is not experiencing the sounds omitted from either of the diagnostic assumptions from the servicer today to give credence to their assumption. BUNCH OF HOGWASH! Vehicle has had maintenance intervals as needed at dealership. Once again, cabin ride is noisy from the tires - no squelching or other sounds indicated of the problem cited by Michelin's Authorized Dealer. Be aware!

Great all seasonTire

Great in traction in rain. Was constantly hydroplaning in previous performance tires. Now I Cruze right through everything. Great snow performance as well and I would even say have better traction than the snow tires I had on before. Also, reduced a lot of the road noise I had with performance tires. Traction in dry conditions is also great as well.

bob25, sorry to hear your fuel efficiency has dropped since CrossClimate 2's were installed on your vehicle. New tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires. As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases. Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve. Regarding the pull, we'd like to talk to the retailer about this issue. As instructed, please call us at 866-866-6605 from the retailers store. A member of our Consumer Care team will be following up with you also.

Nice Tire Some Noise

Purchased in Sept 2021. Very nice ride for 2019 Forester. Tires have howling noise at 25-35 mph then noise goes away with deeper tread noise. Dealer insists it is tires and not car. Overall very happy except for the around town howling noise. Have same tires on another 2015 Forester and noise is barely audible.

Simply the best when things get wet

Baffling how amazing these things are. I'm a very aggressive driver these obviously don't have the extreme dry weather grip a dedicated summer tire would but I'll trade that any day for what these things are capable of in the wet. Who was that famous Spaniard formula one racer who lived for a wet race track? Ayrton Senna ? That's who I feel like in the wet with these tires. Amazing. It's pouring right now this twisty backroad I use all the time that gets lakes on it when it rains and has thrown every vehicle I've ever owned into massive hydroplaning didn't move me an inch today and I hit the lake that formed over this hairpin like I was Senna. Amazing. Third time now I've been in white knuckle rainy weather and I didn't have a care in the world. Way above posted speed limits. Honestly wanna get my car on a racetrack and see if I'm fact these do have limits. All this and sixty thousand mile expected life?? Unbeatable. Nothing compares. These things Legitimately throw the water away from the tires if that makes sense. Wouldn't know it was raining / pouring if it wasn't for wipers needing to be on at full speed. Honestly can't wait for the snow but I'm guessing these things are going to unflappable and unstoppable when the snow falls. Wow. And never in my 35 years of driving have I ever or wolf I ever thought I'd be writing a review for tires but here we are. They're that good

Horrible gas mileage

I recently purchased a set for my 2015 Kia Soul and quickly learned how heavy and mileage sapping they are on a small car with limited horsepower. I now understand why the salesman was pushing them so hard, they must not be selling very well. At the recent price of gas, this is hard to swallow. I'm not impressed
