I got the tires about 3 weeks ago for my Nissan Rogue Sport 2020, and already put almost 1000 miles. They have excellent traction and tread (much better than the Bridgestone that came with the car whe. I bought it). The mileage has improved slightly (I would say between 5 and 10%) and the car handles very well in rain and when turning. I still have not driven in the snow. I read carefully the reviews before buying the tires and feel that some customers left unfair feedback. A lot of people don't inflate their tires properly or service them and they trashed Michelin Defender 2 unfairly. If you don't have tire pressure indicators on your dashboard, roll up your sleeves and check the pressure yourself every few weeks (it's unsafe to drive with under-inflated tires and your fuel consumption will go up). Spend a few dollars and rotate your tires every 10k and get new tire alignment every year - it will extend the longevity of your tires!

Have always been a fan of the Michelin tire. Don't know how often your customers get 100,000 miles out of their tires but I am coming up on that magical number. My Honda Accord has 195,000 miles on the odometer and the tires still have 4/32nd left of tread. They were purchased with 99,000 on the odometer, have had 3 low tire pressure warnings but never had one that left me stranded. Will recommend these to my family and friends. I bought Defender 2 tires for my 2014 Prius Five four weeks and 450 miles ago. I am thoroughly happy with the choice. These replaced some Continental SureContact units that had been scrubbed about a bit because of poor alightment. The dry traction of the Defender 2 is outstanding. I’ve had some opportunity to drive in wet conditions and the traction and braking is similarly impressive. Wet performance and noise characteristics were the primary drivers for my choice of this tire. Given that the Prius is a not well insulated car as the engineers wanted to keep the weight down, I am really impressed at how little tire noise gets into the cabin. That alone argues to put these things on my massive 2003 4,000-lb-plus Jaguar which will need new tires in the spring. The Prius’s mileage has dropped a little, but I really bought the car because it had cutting edge safety technology and I’m getting older. So trading a little drop in mileage for great dry/wet traction, exceptional handling and a low noise factor is just no biggie. As these wear a bit I would expect the mileage to slowly rise some. And at my age (75) and the amount I drive (~6000 a year) these tires should be just broken in by the time I trade the Prius in on what will likely be my last car.

The factory Yokohama tires on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek were fair at best. They had a decent ride BUT they did not even make it to 36,000 miles (which is not acceptable!). I bought the Michelin Defender 2 tires and I am exceedingly pleased with the results. The Michelin Defender 2’s (along with a wheel alignment) have made a significant difference in the overall quality and performance of the ride. Tight on the corners and overall smooth and quiet. The Michelin Defender 2’s are noticeably quieter and hug the road smoother. From now on I will only be driving on Michelin tires. Also, they have an 80,000 mile warranty. I drive in all kinds of weather conditions and thus far they have exceeded my expectations in all respects. Great job Michelin you have made a lifetime customer out of me.

I bought these tires based upon the rating they received from Consumer Reports Magazine and my own personal experience with Michelin tires. The tires give a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride on my 2006 Toyota Avalon. They are replacing a set of Michelin Premier All Season tires.

I had just bought a new set of Defender 2 tires and was on a ride to test them out. My previous tire was the OEM Michelin Primacy Tour A/S with approximately 48,000 miles on a 20 Chevy Blazer RS. The ride was very nice, firm but comfortable. I was, so far, impressed with the handling on a damp road and enjoying the new sneaks. As fate would have it, it began raining buckets and this I thought would separate the wheat from the chaff. I was driving in the granny lane, on a limited access highway at the posted speed limit of 65mph.when a brief but sudden loss of control event occurred called Hydro-Planning.. All of a sudden the car hit a fairly large gutter puddle that caused the vehicle to swerve dramatically. It was a frightening 2 or 3 seconds while feeling powerless other than going for the ride. Steering into the hydro-plane, and to my relief, the Defender 2s quickly took hold of the road and straightened me right out. Having put on about 30 miles on the new Defenders, they really showed me what they are capable of, and I am glad to have them. On this rainy day, the Defender 2s performed excellently.

These tires have demonstrated exceptional handling capabilities. Road performance is superb, with unmatched wet and dry traction across various terrains. The tires appear to be durable, boasting an 80,000-mile rating. While the price point is slightly higher, the value proposition justifies the investment. This is undoubtedly a superior tire.

I bought these tires 2 weeks ago, took a bit for me to get used to these kinds of tires but I first needed to break them in 1st but once I placed 500 miles into them the driving experience became very different in a good way, compared to my previous tires which were Kumho's. I own a Hyundai Elantra 2019 and when I 1st bought it from the dealership which was a month ago, I noticed the suspension to be a bit stiff on bumpy roads but now with these Michelin Defenders 2 tires the ride comfort changed so much that I feel way more confident in my car over bumpy roads and highway driving. These tires keep my vehicle stable on the road and my vehicle suspension feels more stronger now. Your guy's tires made me love my car even more thank you for creating such an amazing tire I definitely will shop for Michelin tires in the future especially these Defenders #2.

I bought the tires a day ago. I did not put to many miles on them in one day, but I can already tell that these are excellent tires. Very quiet, great dry grip and great handling and ride comfort. My old tires (the new tires the car came with) were Goodyear Assurance Finesse. They were quiet, but not very grippy and they only lasted 3 years/40,000 miles.

This is my second set of the Michelin Defender. 2 tires. My last purchase was in 2019. Although the tire has signs of wearing and some cracking, the tread on tires held up for five years. I was very pleased so I purchased another set for the same car.
