Early days but solid performance so far

Tires are on a 2016 F-150 King Ranch. So far they have proved to provide a "softer ride" that what they replaced. Traction under wet conditions (torrential down pour with flooded roads) has been very good, no hydroplaning. I see to be getting improved fuel mileage. Handling was a little vague. It is too early to say anything about durability.

Excellent choice for my style driving

absolutely the right choice for my style driving. haven't been able to check any MS features but no doubt in my mind I will be totally satisfied with them. on the road, quiet, smooth riding, just a hint of whine but nothing to be upset about when you can barely hear them.

Best Winter Tires for Western Canada

The X-Ice tires are just excellent. I've had several sets over the years living in Calgary. The winters here are no joke and these tires are super capable on both snow and ice, they wear nicely and they're super quiet. Can't say I've ever driven a better winter tire.

Incredible all around performance

I drove 102,000 miles on my previous set, rotated every 10k, pushed them a bit further than I should have, down to 2/32 at best. I will never buy anything other than these tires, just replaced the OEM Bridgestones on my 2021 Grand Cherokee L, 63,000 on those. I’m hoping for 90k to 100k from the Defender M/S2 that I just put on. Anyone saying these tires are loud has vehicle issues. New Michelins compared to the roar from OEM Bridgestone is like the difference between a football stadium when they score, to a night in the Arizona desert.

Quiet

I purchased four Defender LTX as research showed they are one of the quietest tires available for a light truck. They truly are. I do a fair amount of highway trips and these tires are amazingly quiet. If you are looking for a good looking quiet tire, you won’t go wrong with the Defender LTX.

Cuts through rain soaked roads like nothing.

I installed the Defenders back in June 25 and immediately noticed a difference in ride smoothness and noise. Most importantly, I have driven through some heavy rain downpours and found these tires cut through the water like it wasn’t even there… I feel very safe having these Defenders on my Ram 1500. Highly recommend them.

Sucks

These Defenders LTX tires are being replaced at 30k miles vs the 60k they claim to last. Rotations every 10k miles for the life of the tire. Will not buy again. Bought new tires for a new business and a different brand. Will never buy this manufacturer again.

Best Tire Money can Buy

I am 7 years into the 2018 Defender LTX M/S, and am getting the Defender LTX M/S 2 this month. This tire far exceeds all others in every genre that can be reviewed. I drive a 1999 4Runner SR5, and have attempted to "get stuck", but have never been in such a predicament with these. Even with very worn tires, we were in the backcountry in the Black Hills, SD and it climbed right out. Excellent performance in midwest winters, and the smoothest handling and noise control you'll get. Worth the splurge on any vehicle.

Honest Review for Michelin Defender 2

I’ve driven about 30,000 miles on these tires, and while tread life and traction are excellent, the noise is absolutely unbearable. From day one, the road noise has been loud, droning, and constant — it doesn’t matter if I’m on a smooth highway, backroad, or city street. The sound fills the cabin and never stops. They’ve worn evenly and still have tons of tread left, but I honestly can’t take it anymore. Nobody wants to ride with me and it gives my daughter instant headaches. For a tire that’s marketed as quiet, this has been the complete opposite experience.

Good tires but I have an issue

The tires look great, seem to handle fine and tread depth looks deeper than some. (Maybe it just looks that way) Now, a couple of issues: I had them mounted on my original rims which were running the previous tires just fine. When I first start driving there is considerable vibration at 100kph for about the first 10 kilometers. Then it goes away and they are fine. I had the tire shop rebalance them and I have the same issue. They don't know why this happens so I guess I'll live with it. The second thing I should mention is that they are quite noisy on the road. (Noisier than my winter tires) I'm guessing that probably my set is just unusual as I didn't read anything about the vibration issue when I was researching the tires.
